I have been looking around pricing out these types of weed pullers and came across this one on sale for less than $14. I figured theres nothing to loose in trying it out. Turns out this weed puller works great. Its made of mostly metal and has some hard plastic parts. It seems well made for residential yard work. I was using it on dandelions and it was pulling the whole plants along with the long roots. Works great on both large and smaller weeds. Seems to work best when the lawn is watered well and ground is softer. Its extremely easy to use, just center the spikes over the weed, push down and step on the base so it goes all the way into the ground, pull the handle back so the spikes close and the weed lifts right out. Even the ejector works great to remove the weed off the tool. Well worth the low price I paid for it, it should be more expensive with how well it works.

My yard was over run by crab grass after having a landscaper lay down seed. I have a dog and didn't want to use harsh weed killer so decided to try a standing weed puller. This thing worked great to remove the entire weed and saved my back! It's very sturdy, easy to use especially after a couple tries. The video was only my second time using it, I got better and faster the more I used it and fyi that's the neighbor dog barking, mine was unfazed by the tool and my 90 year old father was filming. Lol. He also found it easy to use! Loved the release feature. It was addicting and therapeutic to remove all the weeds. It does leave holes but I have dirt and new grass seed to fill in. I would recommend if you have a large amount of weeds to remove or can't bend over easily.

Its nuts how this simple device works so well! Its a manual process so i wouldnt recommend for large scale de-weeding but those stubborn crabgrass and other occasional weeds get yanked up easily. I have even used it on the gravel driveway (even though it says not to) its well built and you really dont need to man handle it! I took a star of because the prongs came rusty but nothing a quick cleanup didnt fix.

First of all, my 9 yr old grandson assembled it. That tells you something. He also did most of the sticker pulling. It works like a charm!! It got stuck a few times, but only when he tried to get too much at once. A few twists in the opposite direction and they came right off the end. I HIGHLY recommend this product.

This tool is amazing , very easy to put together. No problems at all. Very easy to use and pulled all my weeds out if my yard easily. No more bending to dig them out, only thing is wear a glove , I got a blister on my hand cause I used it for 2 or 3 hours. I couldn't stop pulling weeds , even did my neighbors, lol.

This thing is great. I am 6’2” and I can use this fine (although most things I use are a little short and this is no exception). I used it after a few days of rain so the ground was soft but it was very effective at pulling the weeds up. The turning motion works great for most weed types in my yard and wraps the leaves around the posts. The roots come up too if they are in the dirt plug it pulls up. It leaves a quarter sized hole in the ground a few inches deep. I ended up not driving it as deeply into the ground as it can go so most of my holes were a little more shallow. I didn’t add any dirt and will just allow the ground to aerate itself and fill in where the plugs are missing. Hopefully that won’t be an issue. The feature that pops the weed/dirt plug out is really helpful. I did two 5 gallon buckets of weeds and would not have wanted to pull each weed out of the machine by hand. I did research some other competitors (Fiskars and Grandpas) but went with this because it was less expensive and it arrived fast to my location. If I had a large plot of ground or a farm, or my ground was very hard I could see someone opting for something more heavy duty but I don't regret the purchase for my 1/3 acre residential lot. This worked for me and I would purchase it again for the same use.

Although not difficult, it was a bit cumbersome to assemble. It does pull weeds well but the design of the 3 talons which grip the weed tends to leave a large hole where the weed used to be. This is troublesome when the weed has smaller roots with wide/long flat stems. Be aware that you need to rock the Puller down to pull the weed, by merely lifting the unit up, the weed will easily slide through the talons.

This is really a good tool for the price point. Very comfortable grip, light weight, but sturdy. It's easy to assemble, but I was less than happy that there was anything to assemble at all. It may have been easier with 2 people. It is very easy to hose off, making cleanup quick and simple. It only really works with small weeds. Large, mature clumps of weeds can't be pulled with this tool. Otherwise I like it for the price point.
