This is my go to scanner, the first thing I pull out of the drawer when diagnosing something. I previously had an older model that only cleared codes and did live data, but upgraded to this one to take advantage of the new features.Starting off, this unit is touchscreen which is a really nice addition, and it gets plenty bright.With the auto detect feature, plugging it into the vehicle automatically pulls the vin, and then scans all the modules and creates a report you can save for yourself, or send to a customer in a pinch thanks to its wifi capabilites.This scanner also features heavily needed functions for today's modern vehicles, such as parking brake maintenance mode, ABS bleeding, and battery maintenance reset. I find myself using it for these functions multiple times a week. This scanner also can do FCA auto auth which is necessary for newer chryslers.The live data can be useful to determine active faults or failing components, as well as sensors not reading properly.Lifetime updates ensure this thing won't be a brick in a year's time, in a world where most scan tools require a yearly subscription.At the price point, this scanner is marketed twords the DIY person, but the functionality rivals that of some more expensive scanners, while still providing an easy to use interface.To sum it up, you can't find a better value scanner for the money, especially one that updates over wifi, is touch screen, and has the features this does.

As a retired (happily) tech with no desire to keep pace with automotive advances I let go of my pro level scan tools years ago. Most of what I do nowadays I handle with a multimeter or a checkbook but a recent emission scan fail pushed me back into the game.After a good chunk of cash handed to a mechanic could not fix my daily driver I picked up this tool from Amazon. As mentioned, it took some getting used to but I was able to find my problem with it and it was inexpensive enough to hang onto for next time. It’s also updatable!

Received in mail today . The unit will not power on I’ve tried numerous power supplies that work fine with my other electronics and I’m using the power cord that came in box . Left it plugged for several hours and nothing. Tried connecting to vehicle obd2 port with key on engine off and with key on engine running and still nothing. I’m a professional auto technician and have used several scan tools before so I know how to use one especially how to power one on . Complete disappointment

So far, the product does what it is supposed to, except for when you have to wipe it of someone else’s info and email so you can actually set it up for yourself. It looks like someone bought this to check out a Honda then returned it and it was resold but no one bothered to make sure it wasn’t used first lol. Thankfully, I was able to find the reset to factory option since I could not find where to update the email address that it sends your results to after a scan. Pretty sure Honda owner doesn’t care about my Ford 🤣 I’ve only used it once with no other issues than that and it was easy enough to work with. It feels pretty solid in the hand and the case is nice. I’m just a bit annoyed to pay new prices and not receive a new item.

The media could not be loaded. So far this unit has exceeded my expectations. You can view live data, reset codes, check battery voltage. You name it. If you pay to upgrade in the unit itself, you can do all kinds of resets and relearns, and a bunch of other tests. I was able to have the throttle body position relearned. Camshaft and crankshaft relearn. Check o2 sensor readings, fuel trim and fuel alcohol content. You can check for misfires on every cylinder. Separate too if you want to single out one cylinder. Then you can also record the data to look at for future reference. This thing can do it all and more. There’s a lot of updates when you first start it up. But once it’s done it’s worth it. Once plugged into the obd2 port it will auto detect your vehicle and identify then vin automatically and run a health report/diagnostic. It’s super easy to use and even charges when you have it plugged into the obd port. The design is awesome! Love the red and black. Very durable casing too. Also comes with a nice little bag to store it in. If you are shopping for one of these diagnostic tools I would highly recommend this one for sure!
