My son built a beautiful replica of the Bet Hamikdash and I wanted it to be stable and not wobbly, which it was, because we did not posses a base plate large enough. So he put together all of our bases and used that but it wobbled. After ordering this large base plate, he transferred the structure onto this and now it is sturdy.

Bought these for my daughter to build her Legos on. They work great with legos and are large, so she can build multiple things with her legos.

Great base for custom building

I needed a certain size baseplate for a project and I found this one. I just wish it came in something other than drab grey! My use was a little different than what most people would do, but it did not disappoint!My son wanted a Lego room, my husband and I wanted to keep a box of his favorite books on his nightstand to read each night. We wanted something Lego themed that was sturdy. I found a cheap plastic crate in a store and after looking at my options, found the Sawaruita baseplate. It was long enough but too tall. And thanks to the reviews that said it broke easily, I figured it would be easy to cut to size with an Exacto blade. It was super easy to cut and bonded well to the crate with E6000. It locked great with Lego branded 2x4 blocks to spell out BOOKS.

Grandkids enjoy assembling their legos and now able to transport them to the display shelves in their room.

I bought this for my 5-year-old son who is totally obsessed with Legos. He plays them constantly and he was SO excited when I pulled this out of the box for him. We tried it out with lots of legos and they all fit perfectly. I foresee lots of fun building with this baseplate! It was bigger than I expected it to be which is a great thing.

Just use it on a flat surface. It is bendy, so if it isn't on a flat surface the Legos won't stick because the surfaces of the rigid Legos aren't connecting. It's Lego physics!Yes, it isn't as thick, but it's the base in a 4-H project glued to the board it is on. It may never come off and may never get used again, so it was the right price!

I purchased these for my daughter's Lego city build. The baseplates are thin, not stackable and work well with regular Legos. The only problem I encountered is when I purchased several at a time. I received light gray and dark gray plates as seen in the photos. They only list one color (light gray). It wasn't a big deal because they are both nice plates. Just wish I could choose one or the other when ordering. Overall great baseplates!
