The Hot Weather Combat Boot from Belleville is a revolutionary combat boot unlike anything previously available to U.S. military personnel. Once you wear this boot in the field, you will realize that it represents a significant step forward in tactical footwear. These boots are made in the USA with the latest technology to provide comfort and durability for today's military personnel. These boots are Berry Amendment Compliant and are Army Uniform Policy Compliant. They can be worn by troops in the field or garrison. These are men's boots. For Women's Sizes order 2 size smaller than your regular Shoe size (i.e. if you wear a woman's size 8, order a size 6).

Quality control problems 2020
I've worn Belleville boots in the past and quality was always top notch. The C390 has some major sizing issues, I'm a 10.5D in most shoes and usually buy 1 size down in combat boots (Belleville themselves recommend 1-1.5 size down) I first tried a pair of 9.5D which were massive! Absolute boats on my feet, also had some major quality issues, there was dried glue on the heel and nose of the boot and stitching was spotty. So I figured this might have been an off pair so I ordered another half size down to a 9D. Received them directly from manufacturer and right out of the box there were more dried glue issues and a few bad stitches. Being that I needed a pair for an upcoming hike, I can look past the cosmetic flaws. However trying on the smaller size - still MASSIVE!!!My other Belleville boots are 9.5D and were perfect out of the box with minimum break in time. These C390s literally tore my feet apart. Wore them around the house, to the shops, and on a few walks despite the sizing issue but on my hike they annihilated my ankles. Instant bleeding and blisters it was horrible. Now I can certainly blame myself for not getting a properly sized boot and wearing them anyway, but my 3 star rating is my experience with the cosmetic flaws on 2 different pairs (Again the second pair was shipped directly from Bellevilles manufacturing plant in IL) and the bizarre sizing issues of course.Bellville has been a great American company that has outfitted our troops for many years, I only hope that the current issues reside only with this current line of boot and possibly the timing of the covid pandemic quality control might just be slipping for now.It sucks I've already worn them since I needed them and cannot return or exchange for another size but that was understood when I wore them outside for the first time.

Awesome. Beautiful, comfortable and rugged.
These are the most awesome boots!!The photos do no justice to these boots. They are the most beautiful boots ever.Brushed suede lowers, double stiching in a most aristic way. Air vents, both sides of each. Boot runs way up high, with dozens of gromellets on each boot. Sole is a good one inch thick of vibram. Beautiful color, sort of a light chocolate color. Soles match color of boot. Very light, and tough. These boots are so nice, you will be sure to get compliments about them. These boots are not only very beautiful looking, but they have a bad a** look to them, also. The kind of boots that your mother in law would wear. One look and folks can tell that you are not pussy footing around with these hush puppies. I venture that if you take good care of these boots, they will outlast you.Regarding sizing, I ordered my usual size. They fit perfectly. You should prob get a nice set of sole inserts for them. Esp if you have flat feet. The boots are roomy, so inserts work well. Honestly, I can not say enough good things about this boot. You will be proud to wear these boots. And you will be standing tall, as the sole is about an inch thick. Very comfortable boots, esp if you get sole inserts. Awesome. I love them.

Belleville C390 blow-out!
I've always had good luck with the Belleville brand boots in the past. After receiving these boots from mail purchase, in May 2018, it took about 3 months to get them broke in to be comfortable. The problems incurred in this process were a seam of the left boot that would rub an abrasion on the top of my foot and have bloody socks at the end of each day. The second thing is a first for me that the sole of the right boot has split completely across the sole of the boot. Not too happy about this which means having to purchase yet another pair of boots. This is after they have just become comfortable with plenty of sole life still visible. Not happy about this to have to break in yet another pair of boots. I would like to send these boots back and have them repaired or re-soled, but working in Afghanistan makes that extremely difficult. Not happy.

Quality Control issue
I have worn Belleville Boots for 15years without issue. Until today.I ordered a new pair in AUG to be at my house when I redeployed; needed to have fresh clean boots. They showed up no issue.I put them on today and notice they aren’t fitting quite right.I don’t know if it’s the seller or COVID constraints at the factory but these are the poorest constructed boots I’ve ever purchased. The seams are already destressed. The leather work is uneven (see pic) and the adhesive on the sole is already showing signs of failure.Again today is the first day I’ve worn them.I will buy Belleville again. I will not buy through a third party again. And to top it off, I’m outside of the return window. Perfect.

Good quality - but order a size smaller!
I ordered these because I needed new boots for work. I ordered a 1/2 size smaller than my normal shoe size and they were still slightly too big. So sadly, I had to return them. Definitely order a whole size smaller than your shoe size. Otherwise, they were quality boots. Very nice/sturdy material. Would have expected them to last a long time just based on that.

Absurdly lightweight. Very comfortable.
I prefer to wear OCPs over ABUs only because of these boots. They are soo much lighter than my old boots and more comfortable for long walks. I did a 2 miles run after work in these because I forgot my running shoes and it didn't ruin my week to be running in them.

Great boot, does run large
Great boot, did run a bit large. I’m normally a size 10, but read conflicting reviews if this boot actually ran a bit large. I ordered a 9 1/2, and it was a bit big. I put in inserts, and it’s good to go. A size 9 would have been perfect for my size 10 feet.

Great Boot
This boot runs one half size small. If you are a 12, order an 11.5. Besides that it’s an absolutely perfect boot. Feet immediately felt happy in them. The vendor shipped and they were delivered as advertised. Totally worth the money.
