Price/Performance is unparalleled!
I want to start off saying how much I like these screen protectors, the price performance metrics are off the charts! At $5 per, these are really cool. I placed on my iPad Pro back in 2022 when I got it. It has worked like a charm. But over the years, as expected it scratched a bit (better the protector than the glass). Last week, while on holiday I dropped the iPad in rocks and it really did a number on the screen protector. Which, again, is what it is all about. The iPad had ZERO damage, the screen protector not so much. I got a new one in today and went to replace it.When I lifted it off, mind you it's been on for almost 3 years, there was a glue film about 1.5" wide around the whole iPad (see the picture). I was not expecting this. I had to remove all of that glue prior to placing the new protector down. Not a big deal, but it wasn't expected. The only issue I have is that I have never had something like this happen before and I was more expecting this to stay via some static over glue. So I had to spend 10 minutes removing the glue (BTW, alcohol swabs and some elbow grease did the trick). So, this thing stayed solid for almost 3 years. The only reason for replacement was it did its job and took the damage from a drop onto a rough surface. It is super easy to install, including getting any bubbles out. I use a credit card and the cleaning rag and keep moving air to the sides prior to removing the upper film (number 2 film).Using the screen protector does dim the it a bit, but that is because I wanted the paper like matte film - so because I wanted this, I cannot fault a bit of dim-ness (BTW, this is no worse than the new nano-texture on the newer iPads). I still use this for watching movies on long-haul flights without an issue. All in all, I totally recommend this brand, I have been using it for my families phones and iPads for years.

Great product for a great price. The only screen protector you may ever need and use
I think Icarz 12.9 screen protector for the iPad Pro is the greatest thing since sliced bread microwave popcorn, and the Internet. I was skeptical of the price then it cost $9.99 for two screen protectors. I thought because of the price it would be a lesser grade product. But I was pleasantly surprised, and the screen protector surpassed all my expectations. Since I bought the eye cares screen protectors it is great it is easy to clean, has anti-glare so you can really see the images, and the screen protector has The feel and texture of paper. I am an artist and I am able to use my iPad in creating original pieces of art with that texture with the friction is allows me to use my eye pencil to its limits and beyond. I am legally blind and visually impaired. The material the texture and the feel of the IcarzScreen protector, I am able to feel the surface and use the Apps and software to the fullest. That being said there are some drawbacks, not in the quality, and function of the product., But because I’m blind it’s hard to apply the screen protector for a blind person there’s a lot of trial and error. I think there needs to be an audio file or audio description plus a redesign of the application tabs so that you can figure out how to line it up even if you can’t see the screen protector or the tabs, by creating textured tabs, and maybe ribs, or some kind of structural alignment guide, for people who are physically disabled, and blind. This will not only profit the people that are physically disabled and blind but it was a prophet other customers as well. By giving them a physical guide to install the screen protector cut out a lot of the guesswork. But on the whole you have a High quality, well-made, and extremely functional Screen protector for a very reasonable price that surpasses all expectations protects Your screen, from scratches, fingerprints, liquid, and all around use. The Icarz is a great product at a great price, and protects your device from scratch his fingerprints and all around where in tear. It is a great product at a great price. I give this product five starsSincerely Kevin H

Very happy with this purchase!
I've been using my iPad Pro (2021 11inch) with this screen protector for about a month now. It makes writing and drawing with the Apple Pencil feel very fluid and natural.Installation was simple, but it did take 2 tries for me to get it right. That may just be me being a perfectionist, though. The screen protector is slightly smaller than the iPad screen and I wanted to make sure it was centered as much as I could. The stickers to remove dust work perfectly. I have zero bubbles or dust trapped under the protector (and I live in a house with a long haired cat and German Shepherd who both are shedding like crazy right now). Not only does it make using the Apple Pencil feel more natural, it also does a great job of minimizing the amount of fingerprints on the screen. It doesn't keep all of them off, but they are barely visible and a quick swipe with a microfiber cloth (or your sleeve lol) will remove them completely. As far as anti-glare is concerned, I feel like this does a decent job. It dissipates the light that shines on it so that there aren't any blindingly bright spots, but there is still a tiny bit of a glare depending on the situation. I noticed the glare the most when I'm sitting on my couchwhich has a northern facing window behind it. I see the glare, and it makes dark shows slightly harder to watch, but I can still see everything on the screen. The glare with this screen protector is much more tolerable than it would be on the bare screen. Also, after watching a lot of reviews on matte screen protectors, I was very weary about the screen protector wearing down and having residual pencil marks left on it. I have done a lot of note taking and drawing this past month and have not seen even a hint of wear from Apple Pencil use. It looks just as good as the day I installed it. So, I'm very pleased with that. The image I shared is how it currently looks. I didn't even wipe it down first. I just picked it up and snapped the picture. All in all, I really enjoy this screen protector. It is definitely worth the money. It's probably one of the best matte screen protectors on the market. (Yes, even better than Paperlike)

Great matte protector for iPad Pro 12.9" 2018 with minor downsides
Update:I’m a little late in updating this ... The seller actually promptly provided me with a replacement that was cut to fit the IPad Pro 2018. I only had time to go through the procedure to replace the protectors two days ago. Since then, I’ve had zero problems with Face ID recognition. Otherwise its much as the previous versions were. Still a *little* blurriness attributable to its being matte (but there is no way that I can see that you would have a perfectly clear screen protector at this price that is also matte). The blurriness is only occasionally noticeable once you get into using it. It was very easy to put on, and the “tooth” of the screen makes drawing a little more pleasant. Great screen protector if you are looking for a low-cost, matte protector. And the service of the seller is top notch.Pros:- inexpensive- the material seems like it might be slightly better than the one i had on the gen 1 ipad pro -- colors come through a little better. Because its a matte screen protector, there is some "light streaking" (not sure how to better describe it) that makes the screen slightly blurry. But if you draw on the iPad alot and want a little more texture this is the tradeoff you have to make. ThatCons- it doesn't actually fit on the new iPad pro. I paid for expedited shipping so that i could have it as soon as I got the new iPad Pro. it shipped on time, but on application I discovered that it covers up the Face ID camera. So a major part of the iPad is disabled by using this screen protector. If they weren't ready to sell this product because they hadn't tested it, they shouldn't have sold it. The protector, while not completely useless, should be avoided.and i feel like i got ripped off on paying for faster shipping and receiving a defective product.

Good screen protector.
Love the feel of it. Doesn't wear down my pencil tips too much. Also does well as a screen protector.

Perfect for adding friction to the screen to improve Apple pen control and feel
The iCarez matte protectors are a great solution for adding friction to the screen of iPads and making the writing experience with the Apple pen so much better.I use both Microsoft Surface products and iPads to do a lot of writing and making engineering drawings using a pen on the touch screen. Although both are slippery, the iPad is particularly slick. For me, a little friction greatly improves detail drawing, control, and general feel of the pen. We've used them on our iPad Pros and Surface Pro 4s for a few years now (there are 2 of us, both with iPads and Surface products who write and draw electronically a lot, and I've put them on others' products).iCarez has very helpful videos and comes with tools and stickers to help with application. They take some skill to get on bubble free. The larger the screen the harder it's going to be.There are three types of bubbles you get with these types of screen protectors:1. Pure air bubbles. These are no big deal. The pusher that iCarez includes works very well. So does a credit card wrapped with lint free cloth. Very easy to deal with.2. Dust air bubbles. These are bubbles caused by dust. These are extremely annoying, do not try to force these out, it won't work, you need to remove the dust.3. Damage bubbles. If you aren't gentle, bend the protector a bit too much, or apply pressure with something too hard (fingernail or credit card edge (wrap with it lint free cloth to help prevent this) then you can get a minuscule crease that will cause a bubble that can't be fixed. Here's how I remove dust bubbles:For small screens, they aren't bad at all to fix -- iCarez has videos on how to remove them. For larger screen, it WILL be a big time consuming pain. But you CAN get rid of all them. Best to do everything you can to make a dust free environment to start. But for mere mortals like me, it is inevitable that there will be at least some dust bubbles when you first apply it.I use the included stickers or scotch tape on the end of the slick cardstock (that holds the various stickers) to make a long holder for the piece of tape. Then use a lifting sticker or tape on the edge of the protector to peel it slowly and gently back off, slipping my long tool under the protector and reaching as far in as needed. Start from the center out. Don't lift the protector any more than is needed (or more dust will get in). Be very patient, slow, and methodical, and you CAN get them all out.Patience is key. You don't have to fix them all right away. If you get frustrated, stop and try again later. As long as you don't damage the protector, it's very forgiving and can be peeled off again and again (don't peel it off completely if the alignment is good, just enough to get to the dust).About damage bubbles:If your bubble won't move with a slow gentle push and consists of two little half moons you might have a damage bubble. Don't try to move it anymore. It does get a little better over time (you can rub gently in circles on top of it to flatten as much as possible), and it may or may not flatten fully over time and disappear. No fix for these, sorry, so if time doesn't heal it and it bothers you, you'll need to get another protector and try again.

Stellar Application Process - zero bubbles, dust, with ease
As I have gotten older glare from shiny Apple screens has bothered my eyes. Historically for me, screen protectors make it harder to read because they always have bubbles and dust and diminish the clarity and beauty of the screen. The application process for this screen protector is truly impressive and very well thought out. I have zero bubbles or dust particles under the screen protector because of the application process this product employs.Essentially, a protective film remains upon the protector until literally just before it is applied to the screen itself and the application process removes the need to touch the protector as it is applied. The process also guarantees the protector is aligned perfectly as it goes down and has instruction on how to remove any incidental bubbles that are present. There is no glare now. No bubbles, no dust. I use an Apple Pencil and have no issue drawing or writing. Oils from my finger are much less noticeable. I've been so pleased with how much more relaxed my eyes are while reading with this protector that I've begun to wonder why Apple doesn't make the iPad screens with the matte surface that this protector provides.About the Uploaded Image--------------------------------I included a picture where I positioned a reflection of an overhead light just over the word "News+" in the Apple News app open on the screen. That light glare previously prevented me from being able to read easily. With the protector now on the screen, you may not have noticed the glare had I not pointed it out. It doesn't affect my reading now. Unfortunately I don't have a before photo, but if you have a shiny Apple screen you know how bad a direct light reflection can make a reading experience. This protector solves that problem with ease.

Not bad if you are looking for a slightly better drawing feel with the apple pencil
I bought this screen saver because i use my 12.9” 2018 ipad pro for drawing and have read that the matte surface provides a little bit of a “tooth” so the drawing surface will not be as slippery as drawing with the apple pencil directly on glass. This product does provide a more paper like sensation while drawing. Please note that if you have a cover on your ipad like the LUVVITT Clear Grip which i am currently using, you will need to trim this screen protector down slighlly because the cover cimes over the front of the ipad to keep it in place. If you do not trim this screen protector, when you put the cover back on after completing the screen protector install, the edges of the screen protector will be pushed off the glass and separate around the edges. With that said, i do feel that the adhesive on this screen protector needs to be a bit more tacky. Even after trimming it, i still notice that around the edges, this screen protector does not seem tostick properly. This is not a deal breaker for me as this area is not active screen real estate. The installation is easy to follow, if you simply scan the qcr code on the instructions provided, you will be brought to a youtube video that shows you the installation process. NOTE, this installation video is not for the 2018 ipad pro, but for an ipad with a home button. You should still have no problem figureing it out though. BEWARE that you need to make note of the location of the face id sensor and that you make sure the notch in the screen protector lines up on the edge where the sensor is. If not, your face id will not work. The screen protector comes with rubbr bands that hold the screen protector in place so you can align it precisely, then once it is in the desired position, you take som included sticlers and adhere them to the screen protector and the ipad, creating a hinge that will line up the screen protector as you adhere it to the glass. One trick i hav learned is when you inatall the screen protector, do it in your bathroom. Run the shower to get the room a little steamy, this will eliminatemost if not all dust particles that may be in the air, which prevents those annoying trapped dust particles.I found that even with all the precautions and proper cleaning, i could not get 100% of the small air bubbles out after install. These are not noticeable when the ipad is on, so they really do not affect performance.Lastly, i have seen a lot of comments about this screen protector ruining the clarity of the image. Does it degrade the image quality? In my opinion it does soften the picture slightly, but to me it is not as horrible as some have described it. It is equivelant to adding a white layer to a photoshop document and setting the opacity to 2%. It is definitely there. If you are buying this protector because you are an artist wanting a better drawing “feel” then this is a good choice. The price is cheap enough that if you are really unhappy with it, you can rip it off. If you are a video or image purist who must have 100% perfect image quality as opposed to say 98%, then i would opt for a clear glass screen saver, or none at all. i had my last ipad for 3 years, no sceen saver and a cheap tpu back cover and it was pretty much pristine.

Excellent
It’s perfect for unit-fingerprint, reflection, and the pen and the touch response are amazing. Very high quality. The installation is very easy “watch YouTube video”.The only thing is the resolution will be a little bit degraded. But it’s totally acceptable.

Get this!
I do not write many reviews. But I got this delivered today. It took fairly long to get delivered. For someone like me who doesn’t have a great deal of experience installing screen protectors, I was surprised. It comes with such detailed instructions, hinge stickers (for accurate deployment), and peel stickers, together with clear instructions. My first attempt - remarkably perfect. Thanks to the complete installation kit, complete with alcohol wipes, micro-fibre cloth, surplus stickers, and clear instructions.Next, the quality is also really good. I was worried about the rainbow effect, or color noise that matte protectors generate. It’s here. But it’s not overwhelming. The overall feel is really pleasent, together with a slight friction for Apple Pencil. I am really glad I got this.I had developed hairline scratches on my iPad screen. One of these had become deep enough to create a stretch of rainbow effect along its path. It really saddened me. I am glad that all the hairline scratches, together with this deeper one have completed disappeared underneath the matte layer :). Overall, a great success!Thank you. Also - this screen protector is really a great deal. I think it’s not as great as Paperlike 2 (better than Paperlike probably). But this is what you get for much cheaper, with much better installation material, and a really good product. Would you like to get almost twice expensive Paperlike 2, while being unable to install it perfectly? I think not!

Awesome, worth it, but a tiny bit difficult to install
I really like this screen protector. I mostly use my tablet for note-taking and drawing, and I needed something that would take away the extreme glossiness of the screen without causing too much blurring or colour inaccuracy. This is definitely the right product for that. The protector is matte, but not at all rough, so I don’t foresee having to replace the pencil nib anytime soon, which was a major concern for me.Anti-glare is good, but I haven’t tried it in direct sunlight so I can’t say for sure. It’s not really an issue for me either way.Installation is probably the only thing I don’t appreciate about this product. It’s a little tricky to get it lined up and even harder to get the dust out from underneath if any is left behind. I messed up two corners just a tiny bit from having to lift the protector again to get dust out, only to find more underneath. Admittedly, it’s very dusty here, so it might not be as bad for someone else. Once the protector is on it really likes to stay where it is, even after a couple of lifts, and the bubbles were easy to push out.Overall, very happy with this purchase. And it came with two! So now I have an extra if I need it. Absolutely worth your money, especially if you’re looking for something with very mild texturing.
