I totally forgot to take a picture of on top of our car while headed to the beach and back home. We were able to fit 2 suit cases, a large dog crate (folded down) 3 duffle bags, and two other bags, along with tennis rackets and other various stuff! We drove over 11 hours one way with this and we had no issues. It was easily able to withstand speeds over 70 mph. We also encountered rain on the way home and all of our items were dry. The bag itself is very durable and thick with plenty of straps. Definitely a great purchase for the price!! We do not have roof racks but it was still very easy to put into the vehicle (less than 5 minutes) and they provide easy picture instructions.

We've been really happy with this product, which we've now used twice on long distance trips. It remains very stable on the top of our Honda fit, and it holds a lot of stuff. We've driven through rain and have had no issues with water getting in.The only thing that we haven't liked is videos showing people putting the straps through the window's rubber seal. Why would you compromise your car's manufacturing rubber seal for the sake of a car top carrier? How many times will you be able to do this successfully before your windows start to leak all the time? There are other solutions, and it may involve buying some additional straps/tie downs, but I definitely don't endorse showing videos with people compromising their cars for the sake of this product.

Overall, it's a great product. I just used it on a trip from Boston to Newark. It worked perfectly.

I bought this item while on vacation here in Florida. It appears to be more spacious than I expected. I haven't loaded it yet as we will be leaving tomorrow. I already know that it has more space than we'll need. I just want to make sure that it'll hold up to the wind speed on top of the truck. I purchased extra tie downs for reinforcement. So I will update my on Sunday.This is my update.The bag worked like a charm. I had four large gym bags and three small bookbags in it. I was intentional about what I wanted to put in it which were taking up space inside the vehicle.I was used the straps that came with the bag without the additional tie downs.The bag held up well during travel. There were times where we we traveled a bit over 70mph and had no issues. The heat was above 100 as we traveled through the Carolinas, still no issues. We even had a little bit of rain once we entered Virgina. Upon our arrival home, everything was still locked in place.I am pleased with this purchase and look forward to using it again.

I got this for going on camping trips with my Girl Scout troop. The instructions made it seem like it was going to be difficult to install at first, but it was super simple. I installed it by myself on a large SUV without roof racks.We put all the kids sleeping bags, pillows, life jackets, camping chairs, and some backpacks in it. We ended up, unintentionally, fully testing it by driving in high winds, driving highway speeds, and taking it through a pretty severe thunderstorm on the first day. It never moved/slid and everything was dry when we unpacked! Then it was super easy to uninstall for the next trip!Definitely recommend!

This bag was more than large enough for us to take extra supplies on vacation. Easy to mount to the roof rack and feels durable. We didn't encounter any rain so I can't speak to its waterproofing.

I wish it was a little sturdier. The picture makes it look like it has some rubber siding. It doesn’t. It does work for us though.

We were a littler nervous about this with a two-door hatchback, but it was ultimately a very good experience. We drove from Portland, OR to Des Moines, IA, with zero issues. We did not exceed 72 MPH, so we were in the slow lane most of the way, but were happy to be, given the safety of our load atop the car. There is a small amount of shifting from round bouncing, but as long as you check your straps at each stop, you will find that the amount of shift is quite minimal and, sometimes, nonexistent. This product saved us well over $1,400 on a U-Haul, gas, etc. We did encounter a little rain, but the contents of our topper remained bone dry. We highly recommend this product.
