I needed a good 12v source for some remote cameras on my property. This has been the perfect solution, not only for running my cameras, but for several applications around the house. I was very pleased with how lightweight this battery is so, I wired in a cigar lighter adapter and keep it charged with a 6w solar charger. This gives me a portable 12v source that I can use for chargers, lights, cameras, feeders, and electric fences. There is supposed to be a BMS but I still haven't trusted this to charge at more than 10% its amp rating. I do wish the seller provided some documentation and charging limits, but they did not.As for lifespan, it has lasted several nights so far and still shows 12.7v under a light load from my PTZ camera. However, my camera only records motion so the system is inactive most of the time.Altogether a fantastic battery that should prove to last me a long long time!

There’s a lot good to be said of lithium iron phosphate batteries. They offer much of the power density of lithium ion batteries, with less propensity to spontaneously ignite. They can complete in many cases with lead acid batteries of similar dimension, but they weigh much, much less. An example is this battery from ERYY.This is LiFePO4 battery is configured to emulated the popular lead/acid 12V 7AH AGM battery format. The seller promises 4000+ recharge cycles (which is commensurate with other batteries of this type that I have seen and used.)This is a kind of “smart” battery with a built-in battery management system (BMS). The BMS provides some protection from overcharge and over-current conditions, though it’s not impervious to abuse.While the seller does not say so in the promo text, many LiFePO4 batteries of this type can be connected in series (for higher voltage) or in parallel (to deliver more current.) The practical limit is set by the capabilities of the internal BMS, and from what I’ve seen, is typically 4 batteries in series (max), four in parallel (max). Best to verify this with the seller if you plan on banking batteries.

I would be mildly annoyed by that except that this battery is currently on sale at 57% off, at a price of $26, which is an incredible deal. We have several off grid projects and this will be useful in several of those. It came well packed and tested at 13.29 volts right out of the box. Under a load it appears to have just under a 6AH capacity. My advice to the seller is to just be honest about capacity. It is super lightweight, which can be a huge advantage in certain applications. The outer case seems to be good quality. This is a lightweight alternative to AGM, SLA, and other older technologies. I’m not sure where you could do much better for $26. I’m very happy with this purchase.

I've set up a bank of three 160ah Eryy batteries in my RV. In order to properly set up a custom battery bank, you really need a list of manufacturers charging and maintenance settings for your control system. No such directions or settings come with the battery. I've emailed Eryy customer support three times now requesting the battery specific settings and I've not received a response. A review of the Eryy website doesn't help. The company sells a few different products, including the battery line. There are no battery specific settings available there either. Given this fact, I hope I don't need any further support for this product, because I don't think it exists.

My use case for this battery is as a portable/emergency power station for charging devices when power is not available.I use a LiFePO4-specific battery charger/tender to keep the battery charged and healthy.I used spade connecters to attach a 12V-to-5V step-down transformer with USB-A and USB-C ports. I have a lightweight, multi-day device charging solution.I cannot comment on the longevity of this battery as I've only just started using it.

There are some very detailed reviews of this product, so I won't waste everyone's time with redundant information, but here's the deal... At worse you are getting 6AH on a BMS managed battery. The expected cycle lifespan of 2000-4000 is fine. That is more usage than I would get out of my AGC batteries. They last at best two years, like clock work.I've had great luck with LiFePO4 batteries. I would expect this one to be no different. I will update the review should anything go wrong prematurely.Pros:- Extremely light weight.- LiFePO is a great alternative to traditional batteries.- At the time of reviewing, the price was comparable to a AGM 7AH battery.Cons:- None at the moment.*5 stars.
