Paper bead rolling can be a tedious and frustrating chore as you work with various homemade tools ranging from toothpicks to straws to bamboo sticks, etc. Handles are made from solid birch wood that are lightly varnished. There are no grooves in the handle where glue and/or varnish can accumulate...making the handles easy to clean. Unlike other rollers on the market, these rollers are a solid piece of metal with a slot in the tip (with the exception of the 1mm roller which is two pieces of metal). Just slide the paper into the slot, give it a quick turn and you are off to a fast start. You don't have to worry anymore about keeping the paper on the tool as the slot will hold it there for you. The slotted opening in the metal tip is wide enough that it works equally well with recycled paper, card stock and other paper mediums.
