Too Far (Blacklist Book 2)

Great ending to this series!
The conclusion of Kane and Lily’s story, along with other characters with their own chapters reveals all the pieces to the puzzle of the mystery. It was different that Lily told her story in the third person. Kane didn’t have any chapters of his own until the end of this series. That was also an interesting addition to this series. The story itself was great, just told in a different way. The magnetic pull between Kane and Lily was off the charts. The writing was superb.

Part 2
Exciting, confusing, heart stopping. Kane and Lily are a force to be reckoned with. Kane's totally dysfunction family, Lily's murderous mother and her wide web of deceit. This book is impossible to put down. However...most questions from book one and this one get answered

Hoping for a Book 3
Loved it! Will not give any spoilers here, but it was a really great read! I hope she’s working on Book 3! There is no cliffhanger here, but I thoroughly enjoyed all of the characters. There could be either spinoff or a third book.

Beyond Amazing
Mind blowing journey. Incredible suspense. Some of the best I have ever read, I did not want it to end.

Just felt like a roller-coaster of histeria.
Honestly I went into this series only because of a possible resemblance to the Crossfire series (which is an all time favorite), not in terms of story but more so in MCs intensity and masterly depicted deeply felt connections…but they couldn’t be more different. I found it hard to connect/relate with any of the MCs. Everything felt somewhat superficial and confusing. No lightheartedness anywhere to soften the intimacy between the two MC. The book is extremely verbose and drags out with endlessly pointless inner dialogue and even more of clothing descriptions. The MMC is supposed to be this absolute force of nature but at no point do we get to see him action. He comes across intense just because everybody says so. The MFC comes across much the same way but we are left with tons of answered questions. Sorry to stay this series was a disappointment unfortunately.

loved it!
Love these strong lead characters like Lilly and Eva. Love their men but also have backbone. No simpering misses. Only thing that’d be better was if she save Eva ended up bffs lol

Had to read it twice!
Great duet! Not going to lie - I read "Too Far" twice because the first time I read it - well, I was anxious. There was a lot going on! The second reading was calmer and I really enjoyed all the twists and turns. Great read - Some of the prose was rather poetic ( to me anyway).

4 in one
The beginning of the second book was very confusing and hard to follow. There was so much going on and 4 narratives. Finally around 60% done the stories start to come together. In the end it was a very good boos with a complex plot. This is not an easy quick page turner but a very good book.

Not what I expected from author
For me this book was very different from what I have read from Sylvia Day. It is not my cup of tea!

Disappointing
I am so disappointed in this book. I have read nearly all of sylvia's books, but i could not finish this one. I can usually reas a book within 2-3 days, but after 2-3 weeks i was srill only one third the way in. The storyline was disjointed, going from presemt to past then back again. The number of characters and their bacj stories only asses to the condusion. Overall, i was terribly disappointed in herwork on this book.
