I've been riding my e-bike quite a bit and my existing MTB-style straight handlebars were getting quite annoying since, unlike drop bars on a road bike, there is really only one way to grab them. So now I have tendonitis in my elbow. These grips are great because you can rotate your hands 90 degrees to give them a change of position. Since you can't easily keep your fingers on the brake when your hand is on these grips, I use them when I'm in an area where there is little traffic or hazards. You can also put one hand at a time on the grips. I've used bar-ends before on my mountain bike that were much taller than these which me feel a little blocked in. These grips are relatively short so I don't get that locked in feeling. They were pretty easy to install. I didn't get them all the way on the first time so my handlebars were too wide. Just make sure you push them in as far as you can the first time. My tendonitis is already feeling better after a few weeks.

I originally looked at ergonomic grips months ago but didn't buy them as the ones that came with the bike were not bad. Recently they began to slip on the bars so I took the plunge. Now I'm kicking myself as these new grips were easy to install and right from the first ride a definite boost in comfort especially on multi-hour rides. I didn't have major issues with hand numbness, like some do, but still these were worth the upgrade. Like reducing your overall bike weight improving your comfort is a key to getting the most out of your investment.

These grips are really great for the hands and arms. They give ergonomic support and protection with the horns. Tilt them to the correct angle for your comfort. Really great.

Increased comfort by adding width and ergonomic options, seem to be nicely made to securely grip bars. Good material and workmanship
