but excellent at what it does
A very not cheap teapot, but excellent at what it does. This was purchased as a replacement for ours that had sprung a leak between the inner and outer halves.

This is a wonderful teapot! It is a decent size for a family and keeps the tea just "perfect." We are so pleased with our purchase. We could not have bought a better teapot anywhere.

Disappointed. It does keep the tea hot however it ...
Disappointed. It does keep the tea hot however it pours frustratingly slowly and if you tip it too quickly tea pours form the lid. There are a few small holes which allow the tea to pour through the spout, hence the slow pour. After just a few weeks the knob has also come off the lid. In addition if the bottom gets wet it has a tendency to slide across a smooth surface which is rather dangerous.

Super tolle Teekanne.
Diese Kanne ist eine gute Investition. Sie hält lange warm. Ist haltbar im Gegensatz zu einer Glaskanne. Sie gießt sehr gut und auch das Design ist sehr schön. Alles in allem sehr zu empfehlen.

Lo que necesitaba
Hace 15 años me regalaban una tetera Bredemeijer de doble capa. Era genial, siempre mis infusiones a la temperatura ideal para beber. Pero un día lo dejé caer al suelo y se rompió. Busqué si podia comprar la misma y este es la que mas se pareció. La tengo ahora un mes y es igual de genial.

holds things hot well
Nice size - I can make a pot and it'll stay hot for several hours. The Tea Filter by Bredemeijer is very nice if you use loose-leaf tea. The top of this pot fits well into the rim of the tea filter. Tea bags work fine, too, and don't require the tea filter. I'm quite happy with it.

Good tea maker!
Really makes great tea. Being stainless steel it will certainly outlast their more frail china covered pots which both of ours ended up with broken handles with very gentle use. Delivery was very slow but worth the wait.
