Don’t hesitate just buy it!
It came so much bigger than i expected! Here is my cat for reference. Just got this today and it is at least 3’ tall, very alive and very healthy! The pot it comes it is really small and the roots are growing out like crazy so be prepared to transplant it right away. Overall one of the best plant purchases i have made.

Can I trust that it's a currant?????
What did I get for $28? I don't even know what it is. It looks like a stick stuck in the ground. Can I trust that it's a currant? Is it alive?
