This is a lightweight strainer and it's easy to use. It replaced a cheap generic strainer that broke within couple of months. I like the fact that its mesh feels strong and sturdy, with no sharp edges or imperfections to speak of.

The screen on this an craftms ship is great. The handle could be much more ergonomic, as its just a flat plastic mold to the wires. Buy for bigger applications that dont take long this will be wonderful.

We were in need of a new strainer for awhile now. After receiving this I don’t know what we waited so long for. Our other while having a metal screen the rest was plastic. Over time it had warped and just was a pain to clean and always felt like it was going to break. In comes this new strainer with a sturdy metal wire handle and the edges around the screen are sleek and smooth making it easy to clean and use. This strainer is a great size as it’s not too small and really not overly large. If you were to buy only one this would be perfect for most everything for majority of people. We mainly use it for rice but we do noodles and was our fruits with it too. This has been a great upgrade and couldn’t be happier with our choice

This is a perfect size strainer with ideal sized screen. I typically use it for a quick fruit rinse now instead of the larger colander. It's a lot easier to clean than my big two-boxes-of-pasta size colander. The screen is more rigid than I remember strainers being in the past. The stainless steel rim is sealed up enough to keep things from building up in it and it's comfortable in my hand. The best part is how it fits on a pot with the hand-grip on the outside.Value for the money is great for the quality. Expect this to last a really long time if you clean it and keep it from getting crushed in the cabinet. Storage is perhaps one thing that is challenging, because you need to have somewhere safe for it to nest inside something else with a base. Think about the storage issue, but otherwise rest easy. This is a really good product. I definitely recommend.
