Mirror's Edge

Short yet satisfying.
Worth a read if you are into the world of glass and wish to know more about the back story of the main character before the first game. The second game is a prequel.

Loved it
I loved the game even with its warts, and this graphic novel is even better! Good back-story and art.

Neat story. So-so art.
One of the things ME is known for is the amazing graphics especially when it came to the realistic environments in the game. Unfortunately this didn't carry through into the comic. And more unfortunate, the artist also did a preview that was passed out (as one of many promotions) in which the art was much better at reflecting the game. Judging from the artist's previous work, I felt that the art was done subpar. Other than that, this TPB is a fun read as a prequel to the game (2006).

... days before it was expected and it was in excellent condition. Great read
It got to me a few days before it was expected and it was in excellent condition. Great read, if you love the videogame, I highly recommend reading the actual comics it's a really well done story, I'm really looking forward to the new Mirror's Edge!!!

A Poor Medium
I love two aspects of Mirror's Edge: the setting and the Parkour. Unfortunately, a graphic novel is a poor way to express both of those. The art was fine, but the motion of Parkour can't be conveyed. If you hadn't played the game, you would have no idea how the runners in this book move around. Similarly, the setting itself wasn't captured well. It's enough to get the idea, but that is all.I would much rather see a Mirror's Edge movie, as well as read a novel that takes place in the setting.

Three Stars
It's OK. Would rated higher if not the artwork, which for me is just awful.

El mundo de Mirriors edge mas amplio.
El cómic viene en ingles , la historia ya no podría ser canon después de catalyts , de verdad que algo que buscaran los seguidores de la serie.

The backstory to Mirror's Edge!
A very well written story arc accompanies very wonderful modern comic art; bringing the reader up to date of the events of the lead up to Mirror's Edge (the game). This collection was originally produced as 7 mini comics that were handed out at E3 just before the game was released. It has been said that Mirror's Edge 2 will fill in the gaps however I highly doubt that anything will fill the gaps as well as these original comics. This product is the complete comic set in order.I highly recommend this to any Mirror's Edge fan!
