Wonderful set!
Bought this as a beginner set for my daughter. Everything seems to be good quality, she has been thoroughly enjoying it, nice range of colors. Brushes are golding up well to almost constant use over the past couple weeks, almost zero shedding. Very pleased

Good quality for a beginner
I've just started watercolor painting. Before I got this Nicpro set, I had purchased professional grade watercolor paints (Winsor & Newton), as well as student grade watercolor paints (Winsor & Newton Cotman paint). I also purchased professional grade brushes (Princeton brand), and high-quality paper (Arches brand). In comparison to these high-quality supplies, I think this Nicpro set is actually very good.PAINT QUALITY- The paint in this set is a good student quality. The item description states they are "artist grade", but they are not as pigmented as the Winsor & Newton paints I have.- The tubes do NOT list the pigment on them (like better quality paints do), so I can't say what the pigment number is for these paints.- The paint tubes do have the transparency rating on them - from transparent, semi-transparent, to opaque - so that is nice.BRUSH QUALITY- The synthetic squirrel brushes are a good quality and I like the variety that is included.- I am currently using the Princeton Heritage 4050 Synthetic Sable brushes, and I think the synthetic squirrel brushes in this Nicpro set are not quite as stiff as the Princeton brushes. Brush stiffness is a personal preference, but for me so far, I prefer the Princeton brushes for a sharper edge when painting.PAPER QUALITY- The paper in this set is a glue-bound cold press paper. It's the same weight as the Canson and Arches paper that I've been using. I would say the paper is comparable to the Canson brand. For $26, this Nicpro watercolor set includes all the basic supplies you need to get started with watercolor painting. I think this is a good set for a beginner or for someone painting as a casual hobby. But if you're more serious about your painting, going with better quality paints will give you better results in the long run.

Lovely set
This set is a definite keeper! Paper is high fiber count and less expensive than my usual band. The brushes come capped and palate and paints are great! Worth the purchase!

gorgeous set, surprisingly good quality for the price
I’m a complete beginner with watercolors (in case my clumsy swatches didn’t make that obvious), so take my review with a grain of salt. With that said, this set comes with everything you need to create beautiful beginner quality watercolor art.The watercolor tubes contain vibrant colors that can be blended to create any hues you need along with the included palette. Although the pad is small, it’s thick and the paper doesn’t bleed through easily. The brushes seem to be good quality as well and there is a nice variety, labeled with standard sizes. It makes it very easy for anyone to get started with watercolor painting and provides beautiful results.I can’t wait to learn how to create with watercolors using this set! At the price point, it’s an awesome buy for a young person or a budding artist.

Great watercolors, impressive paint set
This set is amazing. The color tubes will go a long way as you don't need much from them at all. Each tube can be punctured opened by its lid. The brushes are a great quality and I haven't experienced shedding from a single brush yet. They come with a velvet pouch to store them in. The provided paint palette and watercolor paper is very useful. The paper is also pretty good quality. This set is definitely a great value.

Sticky?
When I would use too much of the paint instead of watering it down, it would dry sticky. It's kinda weird. After it's done drying, it's fine, but this is my first time feeling sticky watercolor. For that reason alone, I don't like to paint with it so it's just stored away. I occasionally will dry layers with paper towel so if it's sticky, it will take some of the paper towel with it.The swatches looked nice. Just a couple of the colors were not as pigmented as the others but overall it's fine. Probably not something I would buy again though.

Good beginner set!
This is a great beginners water coloring set with everything you need to begin painting included in the box. There are 24 different tubes of Watercolor paints, a velour bag containing a variety of different brushes, a palette, pad of watercolor paper, and a little leaflet of directions. You get a nice variety of colors in the 24 included tubes. The one complaint I have about the tubes is that it’s a little difficult to screw on the tiny little cap straight on the threads once you’ve opened them. It’s a little time-consumingj to get it on straight. The colors themselves are nice to work with. The paper is very good quality and extremely thick with no bleed through when using the paper. Included brushes contain a nice variety of beginning brushes. The instruction leaflet was is basic showing the colors and a picture of the color wheel and explains how to care for the brushes and not much else. All in all , this is a great set for beginning painters with everything included. I would recommend these and I would buy them again.
