Beautiful artwork
I love the new Dungeons and Dragons screen. The artwork is beautiful and the information on the other side is really helpful while I’m DMing. It’s very sturdy and came in a nice sleeve and box.

Best official DM's screen I've seen despite the landscape-only layout
It looks like they actually DID take 10 years of feedback to heart on this one. I've had to create my own screen inserts (obviously using screens for inserts) to get the info I needed or wanted in there. Despite this, I tend to collect officially-printed screens to keep comparing to.This one comes closest to the stuff I create for myself. Now, I'm up to an 8-page screen due to the info I want (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0CP4J32QR/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1) but this is BY FAR the most usable D&D screen I've seen for some time.Is there other info I'd like to see? Yes...but without going to 8 pages I don't see how that would be possible. My big bummer is that the panels aren't laid out in portrait orientation. TBH, I would LOVE to be able to scan these panels and replace some of my custom screen inserts with these. They'd certainly look a lot nicer.Warning to those expecting too much:This is just basic stuff that no DM remembers but sometimes has to look up. There are no obscure rules here that are tough to find. A good screen is all about finding what you need for something simple at a glance without having to do a search on DnDBeyond or something. If you need to know the specifics of a condition or how much a mug of ale costs, this is the place. If you're trying to decipher how Misty Step: Taunting Step works or the specifics of Heat Metal, that's not what a DM's screen is for.

Great for new DMs maybe lackluster for more experienced DMs
Things I liked1. The text looks great and easy to read.2. The build quality is great.3. The information is well laid out4. Landscape printing is great to not hide the DM when sitting down.Thing I did not like1. The information is good for beginner DMs not so much for more experienced DMs2. The pooch it comes in is nice addition but no very sturdy.3. The art work is not to my style but art is subjective.I would totally recommend this for new DMs but maybe wait for another 5.5E one if you are more experienced. The art work is bold and seems to be well liked. The landscape is great for hiding those minis but not the DM. Overall great product well worth the money.

Love it!
Did not purchase the 2014 edition, but comparing this one to my friends older one, there are many great changes. Recommend.

Not as practical as previous screens for 5e. Quality has degraded.
I will be reviewing this product on regards to three aspects, its appearance, presented content, and build quality.Appearance:This hardcover landscape DM screen has a matte finish like the Wilderness DM screen before it in contrast to the nicer gloss finish of the first two. The artwork looks considerably worse than all of its predecessors as shown in the photos. The slip cover falls on its face compared to its predecessors, failing entirely at being useful on a shelf. It lacks all pertinent information on the spine and front cover. Compare this in the provided photos to its three predecessors, which are all perfectly functional. The package that it came in has a zip tab. I despise this kind of thing as I am forced to cause permanent damage to it to get it out. This compounded with tot completely useless slip cover makes it a pain to put back on a shelf. This could have been avoided with a simple slip cover and shrink wrap rather than physically tearing it open. A functional slip case would have made up for it, but they make it so useless that they shouldn't have bothered to make it in the first place. It's gives me the impression that they want me to buy two of them, one to leave unopened on the shelf and another where I chuck the packaging and slip cover in the garbage/recycling bin.Content:The interior text sports a larger font, making it easier to read at the cost of content. It amazes me how after all this time, they still haven't included a grenade scatter diagram, which is handy for any thrown object. The information it provides covers:2024 DM Screen: Conditions, Improvised Damage, Combat Actions, Skills, Death Saves, Object Damage, Incidental Item Costs, DCs, Lighting & Visibility, Travel Pace, Terrain, Cover, Audible Ranges, and Weather.Wilderness DM Screen: Conditions, Improvised Damage, Skills, Object Damage, Incidental Item Costs & Services, DCs, Lighting & Visibility, Travel Pace, Encounter Distance, Cover, Audible Ranges, Weather, Tracking DCs, Navigations, Survival, Environmental Effects.2014 DM Screen Reincarnated: Conditions, Improvised Damage, Combat Actions, Skills, Object Damage, Incidental Item Costs & Services, DCs, Lighting & Visibility, Audible Ranges, Tracking DCs, Travel Pace, Encounter Distance.2014 DM Screen: NPC Names & Characteristics, Conditions, Improvised Damage, Skills, DCs, Lighting & Visibility, Audible Ranges, Travel Pace, Encounter Distance, Random Events & Items.Construction:Like the Wilderness DM screen, the 2024 DM screen is notably lighter to the touch at 10.5 ounces than the 2014 DM Screen and its reincarnated version (at 11.5oz). It feels less sturdy than those before it, but still supports itself well.In my opinion, the 2014 Reincarnated DM Screen is the best of the four. The are is outstanding, content is the most comprehensive, and if feels more sturdy. The slip cover doesn't have a pocket like the last two. Consequently, removing it from its cover is exceedingly easy as it only take a half-second to accomplish.
