It works exactly like actual oil in removing makeup - including waterproof - without irritation, but doesn't grease up or irritate if it gets in my eyes. The process is also very pleasant and soothing: (1) oil up - massage all over the face and (closed) eyes; (2) when you've worked up a good raccoon face with the liner and mascara you just pulled up, emulsify with a little water (I just wet my hands for this step) and massage some more; (3) rinse off with clean water. All clean, not dry, and ready for toner and moisturizer.

I really love Hada Labo Cleansing oil, but in the past year the price on it has doubled, so I have been trying other brands. This one is good and a decent price. Not sure about the pore toning claims, but it does what I need it to do. I double cleanse, so put it on my dry face and massage it in to loosen up makeup and sunscreen, rinse with warm water, then use a cleanser. I have used other Nooni skin care products in the past and was never disappointed, so was pretty sure this would be good.This breaks up all my makeup, even mascara and waterproof eyeliner, and washes off nicely with just one wash. My skin does not feel dry and tight after, which is the whole point of double cleansing. The only negative is that it has fragrance, and I try not to use products with fragrance, as all fragrances are potential irritants - but since this type of product is only on your face a few minutes, I think it’s ok. The fragrance isn’t too strong. Also, it does not burn my eyes, which is a problem with some cleansing oils. Probably I will continue to search for a non-fragranced option at a decent price, but I would definitely buy this one again.

I use this daily - one pump is enough. Cleanses effectively, no noticeable scent. Good price and lasts a long time.

I've always heard of cleansing oils but never actually used one. I have oily skin so this helps a lot to cleanse and doesn't strip away too much. I don't wear makeup so I can't say how well it does for that but would imagine it being effective. You apply to dry face and massage in, then I just wet my fingertips with warm water and massage into a milky lather, then rinse and good to go.

I’ve been using this once or twice a day and honestly this has left my pores feeling clean and has made my face less oily after going thru my whole skin care routine. I will say some days I notice the residue that comes out the pores sometime I don but honestly I feel a difference it’s just a matter of sticking with it. I will say the price is perfect for this and good for my sensitive skin

One of the best oil cleansers I’ve found. It’s lightweight and leaves my skin so soft. I love the scent as well.

Wanted to love it, as it felt nice during use and seemed to cleanse face well prior to second wash. Despite the second wash, after every use I have noticed white heads pop up everywhere. This is not my typical. I tried to use consistently to see if it would improve and no luck. Took a break and tried again, still happened. Disappointed

I liked this for cleansing and make up removal until I developed a rough dry patch on my lip. I am not able to read the ingredients on the bottle, so I wouldn’t be certain it isn’t toxic. I now started using L’bri gentle cleanser and it removes make up better and it’s starting to clear. I used it for 5 months, and still have product left.
