POS Terminal – Payment Terminal & Card Reader for Retail Stores | Powered by Shopify POS

I just opened a shopify and found this gem that will be perfect for booths at shows. It was so easy to set up and integrate, and works with my iPad 10th generation. It was a good deal for a beginner like me make me feel more professional. I have done a few transactions and it was easy for me the seller and the customer to use.

Got this for a friend who runs a home business selling jewelry and she is over the moon about it. It looks just like the sort of POS you would get for three times the price from a name brand (well, I guess Shopify is a name brand, but I mean Toast or Aloha or Square) and is so easy to set up and start using. Nowadays a lot of people have home businesses selling things they make so this is a huge help to have on hand so that you don't have to figure out a register, safe, etc. you can just take card payments right here. Shopify isn't my favorite brand, but I'll go with it if it means I don't have to spend upwards of $1000 on a terminal.

This is a comprehensive all in one solution for using Shopify at your point of sale. It’s very nice and looks extremely professional and works flawlessly. You have the tablet holder in the dock and the credit card reader with the built-in screen and everything functions like it’s supposed to with a professional fit and finish and excellent build quality. This set lacks for nothing.Very easy to set up and get going minutes after the unboxing so there’s no problems there. This is an excellent set up for your hardware. It does not include the android tablet, which must be USB-C.However, there is a big caveat here and that is I am not a fan of Shopify. I had an old account that I revived to set this up and use and I was a bit surprised it just how much money and little fees and extra charges they take, so if you’re already using Shopify, this is great. If you were still looking for an account to use with your point of sale location, I would consider shopping around.

The terminal's all in one design makes it easy to process transactions manage inventory and track sales in real time. The system integrates seamlessly with my online store which is a huge bonus for syncing products and data across platforms. The interface is user friendly and my staff picked it up quickly without much training. The credit card reader works flawlessly and the contactless payment option is a big hit with customers. I also appreciate the detailed sales reports which help me analyze business performance and make informed decisions.

Do not purchase this product. If anything goes wrong the support team can't help you.I purchased this along with a Samsung Galaxy S6 Lite and started putting it together. Everything worked until I tried to connect the terminal to the POS app. It would attempt to connect for an hour with no results. I called the support number and we factory reset terminal twice and uninstalled and reloaded the app. I was told it was an error in the back end, and I would be contacted via email because that "team" didn't have a phone number.Two days later I had heard nothing, so I called back again. Same song and dance with no one able to resolve the issue. It is now 24 hours after the second call, and I have received no communication from Shopify. I can't speak to the other POS platforms like Square, but my business opens in less than a week and I have a lovely Shopify brick.

First, I didn't realize that this device is basically discontinued by Shopify. I think I'll have "support" for another year, but they are phasing this out, so maybe not your best bet to buy NOW. Also, there is a lot of resetting the device to keep it linked to our ipad, etc. When it works, it is great. There is a lot of good potential, but given the temperamental nature of the device, maybe keep looking.

I can finally use a modern iPad with this POS machine, it's works amazingly but be aware that it only works with shopify, so if you are using or prefer square or anything else, you have to look somewhere else. for me it works fine, the device is great, all the negative things comes from shopify itself. shopify can charge a lot of money if you don't know what you're doing, but for those familiar with it, this is a great Point of sale that is complete with card readers and customer interface, it's cheaper than similar systems. setting up the product it's a breeze, keep in mind that you need to provide the computer device (ipad) in my case the ipad 10 gen works amazing and it can be found really cheap these days.

It has come up a few times that people want to pay with a credit card in person and currently, it is a slow process. Setting this up with Shopify was very easy. The device looks like a professional kind of thing and seems easy to use. So far I haven't actually run any sales on it, but testing seems promising.
