I think it is a dream gift set of any little girl. The child we got this for loves this set and enjoys playing with it every bit of her time. Some items are better quality than others but overall children love enjoying this set for their playtime. It is a playful activity that enhances their imagination. This is a nice gift set for $26.99. The Ingbear Mermaid Gift Set includes a sturdy single walled stainless tumbler, a plush diary, a fancy pen, two bags, a compact mirror/comb, two hair clips, a necklace, a bracelet, and a keychain. The tumbler and diary are both good quality and represent most of the value in this set. For example, we recently purchased a similar fuzzy plush diary for over $10. The quality of the bags is in line with what I'd expect from an inexpensive kid purse from a toy store (they'll be fine for playtime but may not hold up to a lot of use). The jewelry is made with standard quality children's plastic beads, but the unique charms are what make them special. The glitter filled keychain is also very fun and a big hit with our crowd.This set is packaged in a pretty decorative box that is suitable for gifting, and when opened feels like a treasure chest! This is a fun set for a young kiddo, and we would recommend it to others!

An incredible gift for a little girl (5-8+). The gift box is good quality, and once open appears bottomless! Gifts just keep coming; each one an absolute delight.NOTES:- The JOURNAL is beautiful, but the little key must be removed by the metal ring from the lock before it can be used. An adult will be needed.- The LOCK mechanism on the one we received wasn't functional - the keys were much too small, so there was a lot of prodding and twisting before I gave up and picked the lock (so the lock is a write off for us).- The PEN is excellent quality, black ink, fine tip, capped, and writes very nicely. Plus daughter LOVES the design of it.- The TUMBLER is stainless-steel with clear plastic lid - it's top quality and entirely SPILL-PROOF, a little awkward to drink from but daughter doesn't seem to care!- The HAIR BOWS are an iridescent delight! So pretty and not at all cheap looking. We removed the pearl string to use the bows individually and turned the chain into a second, very pretty, necklace.- The HAIR BRUSH is colorful, compact, functional, and has a mirror.- The GIFT CARD is written in GERMAN!!- The little CAT PURSE is the lowest quality item in the set, it's a kind of plastic foam, and though looks kind of nice to a child, it's really trash. The strap the comes with is just a strip of the same inflexible plastic foam, and there is no way to attach it to the purse itself so it becomes a functional purse. Some snaps or something should have been added.- The FISHTAIL PURSE, is much higher quality, nice fabric, bright multi-color sequin and soft fur. Has a strap fully attached so easy to carry, though limited capacity.- The KEY CHAIN - is surprising nice, I could see an adult purchasing it as a stand-alone item.- The NECKLACE / BRACELET SET are elasticated and a good length for a child. Pretty design, not overly cheap looking or feeling either.All in all, for the price it's actually worth it for the joy it brings both during opening, and on an ongoing basis with a mix of both quality practical and fun items.

My goddaughter fell in love with this. I was even forgiven for missing her mermaid themed party because she was so enchanted with this. There’s so many pieces (little jewelry, cup, journal, etc) that it felt like she would never stop reaching in and finding more mermaid stuff. Great theming, great quality and color, very much bang for your buck in terms of value. I’ve spent so much money on other princess/mermaid gifts and toys and this one is the one that she always wears or uses something from, even two months later (that she hasn’t broken or lost this stuff is a miracle, as two months in toddler years is like a century). Highly recommend!

This is an affordable and decent gift for mermaid fan. While not every single thing is great quality overall it still makes a great gift. The journal and pen are really cute. The excitement seeing my daughter look at all the box contained was enough.

This was the perfect birthday gift for my daughters friend. All the items that come in the package look nice. Her friend loved it and played with everything.

My daughter loves this stuff. She's been playing with it for three days and so far it's held up. I think it's a good gift set and probably reasonably priced for the amount of stuff you get. I've paid $8-10 dollars just for a similar the diary that comes with this set. (If you lose the key, a bobby pin works to open the diary). The cup has been dropped multiple times on the cement and has held up pretty well - I don't see any scratches yet.The little purse (shoulder bag) annoyed me because the strap is not attached, you have to tie it on and it doesn't fit right. It looks stupid in my opinion, but my 6 year old loves it (and that's what matters). The hair accessory is unlike other accessories that I've seen so that's pretty cool. The pen actually writes pretty nicely. Some of the stuff feels cheap - the shoulder bag and tail bag, the keychain and the jewelry, but in every set I've seen the jewelry feels cheap. The tail bag reminds me of stuff you'd get at the dollar store.What I really like is that this is a good set that matches and is a great gift. It's in a decent quality box that's pretty, so I keep having my daughter put stuff back in the box.Overall, I think it's a good value and I'd buy it again at $26. Much more than that and I probably wouldn't though.
