An added appeal are the lights that flash on the outer roller edge.I am not certain how durable this may be. Obviously if it gets caught or stepped on, which depending upon the skill level of each child, will determine this. But right now it's giving a lot of fun and has exercise value, both of which are a plus in my opinion!

The concept is fantastic—it's a modern take on a classic toy, which I appreciate. Watching my daughter play with it brings back memories of my own childhood.As for the quality, it's decent. The skip ball itself seems sturdy, and the adjustable ankle loop is a nice touch. However, it's best suited for outdoor play, where there's plenty of space to move around freely. Playing indoors can risk damaging furniture due to the potential for the ball to collide with objects.In terms of age suitability, it's perfect for kids in the 6-10 age range. My daughter, who is 7, has been enjoying it immensely.

I had one of these toys when I was a child, but it didn't light up back then! It provided hours of exercise and fun for me and all the kids in the neighborhood- boys and girls. This updated version is awesome! It lights up which will provide lots of fun in the summer and it folds up when you want to put it away for a while. I have a good friend who just came with her 6 year old grandchild and she spent over an hour with this toy. In today's world where the kids are glued to a screen, something like this is fantastic.

This was a great toy while it lasted! I'm glad it came with 2 so my kiddos could get more use out of them. My kids aren't rough with toys at all and played with them appropriately but they only lasted a few days. The purple one went first. The ball connector to the main body stem doesn't have a snug fit anymore. It's still connected to the toy overall but the kids won't use it as it makes the toy work and feel differently with it flopping around on the end. It lasted a couple of days. The pink one lasted about a day longer. I will say that my kids loved it though! I will definitely be looking for a more sturdy option to replace them with. Also, my kids were using them on sidewalks. Perhaps if they were used in grass they would last longer. Just a thought.

Nice design, fits together like a tent pole. Only flaw is that the spinning end comes off fairly easy when you are playing with it. I would recommend super gluing that part on and leaving the rest of the shaft free for disassembly if needed.

I'm going to give these fun kids ankle skip ball to my children for outdoor or indoor summertime fun. I like the fold up design, which makes it easy to travel with. I would say that the ankle skip ball is durable and strong to be plastic. I do wish that the ankle skip balls did come with a counter on them. I like that it keeps my kids up and moving for fun exercise. I like that they can be used indoor or outdoor. I feel that the price is reasonable for the product I received. I would highly recommend for its durable build and fun design.

This ankle skip ball took no assembly and worked straight out of the package. The ball lights up when spinning. Our 7 year old granddaught loved it but became quickly frustrated, but that is her. I was able to skip with one and they work great.

It's hard plastic and it pulls together with the bungee feature. My 5 year old is too small or not yet coordinated enough to use this skip toy.
