Beautiful art but rushed story
If you have read the Strawberry Panic full novel, then this manga book will make sense. If not, you will probably be left feeling confused. In this version of the story, there is very little character development and the story feels rushed. Events seem to skip from one to another without seeming to have finished before moving on. Also, the ending is missing, as it was not written at the time that this was drawn. If you buy this, please don't expect a detailed indepth story. To fully understand the story, you will need to buy the full novel that came out in english in summer 2011.On a better note, the art is beautiful and gentle, and it's lovely to see a visual version of the story, even if parts are missed out.The story is set on a beautiful hill, and on that hill are three boarding schools for girls. The story focuses on the Etoile event, an event that decides which two pupils will become the glorious representatives of the three schools. Each school elects two girls who will compete to become the Etoile couple- and things get pretty competitive. You'll also see the story look at the relationships between the characters, some of which are romantic.I'll point out that the novel differs quite a bit from the anime, so please don't get them confused :3

Worth a buy.
Very good quality. I was surprised to find that this does not develop the story as much as the anime. But that may have been down to general ignorance. I always find that the manga art is a lot more beautiful than the anime for obvious reasons.

Very good story, it is as emotional as the anime itself and would recommend to anyone.

Buy it :D
If you are a fan of Strawberry Panic in general, buy this. It has lovely artwork, and a nicely paced story line. The story in the manga however, is quite different from the anime. There are some new characters, and some have different appearances. Another thing would be that it randomly finishes at chapter fourteen, as it was discontinued. :(But if you don't mind the slightly abrupt ending, buy it!

The Complete 'Incomplete' Manga
Though this is called the 'Complete Manga' it is only 325 pages. I knew this, and thought that at least it would be enough for an hour, hour and a half bus journey. I wasn't expecting an in depth story but, I was surprised by the way it ends: it just stops. The protagonists are introduced, a bit of back story is introduced, and then, just as the plot begins to develop, and you begin to look forward to the story, it all ends with "The End?"It is all very frustrating because you do begin to invest in the characters; they are well drawn, have distinctive, individual personalities - 'Aoi' and 'Byakudan' are seriously cute. There is potential for a good story here, it's just a shame that there isn't.
