I purchased two of these and they were great, until the electrical wiring came out of one of them, making it both useless and dangerous. I contacted Amazon and was told "As you've had satisfactory use of this product for a period of time exceeding and the typical average life of this product, and since you purchased your product approximately 12 months ago and have used it successfully, please understand that we're unable to offer you a replacement or refund." Suggesting that the item has a expected lifespan of less than 12 months which is not stated anywhere on Amazon. They also told me that I can only return the item within one month of purchase, regardless of the reason. Not worth it. Do not buy!

I’m really pleased with this, it looks really pretty.Word of warning: it‘s best used when plugged in. It works with batteries, just not for long. I thought mine had malfunctioned because after a day or two of using it with batteries, a few of the lights went off and the two left had changed to different colours.

Purchased this for my sons room and it arrived next working day so he was pleased and set up via a timer and usb adaptor.First thing noticed is that the colour is more blue than the picture shows and thats more in keeping with his room so no complaints. Reasonably bright and decent quality.There is a power lead (not too long leading to battery case) that has a separate spur with a USB plug so no batteries required but there is only one switch which is for battery usage so be aware that if using USB you can only turn on/off via the USB adapter or wall switch.Overall we're happy with the quality and price and it looks nice on the wall.

Caution to parents...I bought this for our daughters room. It was a nice light and they loved it. However, when powered via usb (which you would because no one wants to change 3 AA's day), the cable heated up and was hot to the touch. Then it wouldnt work, then it did work and then it didnt again.... you get the picture!It seems to me the manufacturer used the wrong gauge to wire it. This is just unnecessary and unsafe cost cutting.Returned.

I brought this despite the low stars and wow! its amazing. The best thing I've impulse got on amazon. connected it to a USB plug and connected that to a smart plug and it works amazing. takes triple A batteries if using portable but its brighter when plugged in!

Got this on a promotional offer to gift to a cat-ophil friend (should have ordered two, one for them, one for me!).The packaging had my address sticker stuck on so beware if this is sent to another address as a gift (you will know the contents right away but think this is mentioned somewhere in the description).The light doesn't come with batteries, but I was able to test it with a powerbank as you can also power this via USB, which is very handy.The light's colour was a warm glow which is really nice for those darker autumn days.It comes with a wee suction hook to affix to a window or tiles.All in all happy with the purchase, as is the giftee. Hope this is back in stock soon so that I might get one for myself :)

I bought a 'Love' and this cat LED USB light at the same time (both in pink), they go perfectly together on my wall in the office. Both are plugged into a USB charging device and seem to work OK. They don't get overly hot. Would have been 5 starts if it had a mounting hole, needs two nails to make it sit straight.

Very bright & true to the picture, useful hole for hanging off a hook or nail.Only issue is that the cable is very fragile where it attaches to the light, when it moved the light flickered on & off. I remedied this by sticking it down so it wouldn't move using duct tape.
