POWERTEC 3" x 20' Dust Collection Hose, 3 Inch Flexible PVC Dust Collector Hose for Table Saw, Planer, CNC Machine, Radial Arm Saw, Woodworking and Wood Shop Dust Collection System (70265)

This product (and the matching Powertec thread hose adapters/couplers) would be a great product if one could use it as intended. This is supposed to allow screwing spiral-threaded adapters onto them for a clamp-free retention. So, I bought multiple sections of this Powertec 3" hose along with some Powertec 4" to 3" threaded adapters. But, guess what? The adapter is right-hand threaded, while the hose is left-hand threaded! [Further, different product pictures on this page shows differently threaded hose. One shows right-handed threads (the picture I used to confirm compatability), while another picture shows left-handed threads (like the actual product as, and like the picture I didn't view)!] How stupid can a manufacturer be to make what should be complimentary products with opposing threads? So, I guess these products are gonna get boxed back up and returned due to incompatibility. A purely ridiculous lack of proper product design oversight. Way to go, Powertec! Thanks for wasting my time!
