Overall, the item's design and function are unique and more useful compared to other bookshelves that have no drawers, especially for a small home solution. However, 1) the assembled item is not stable and needs extra work to align to the wall. 2) there are no pre-drilled holes on the back of the bookshelf to apply the attached wall mounting pieces. 3) materials are MDF and heavy. Assembling may require two people.

This is a lovely shelf with a healthy amount of storage . For transporting, lifting, and assembly it is best with two people. The color of the shelf is nice and goes well with similar colored decor or items in the same color pallet. For use of the shelf due to it's height I would recommend safety measures. If you live in an earthquake prone area I would place the item in a place where if the shelf fell down it would not fall on a bed, desk, crib, etc. I would try to place the item on an even floor. I would also ensure that the shelf is not top heavy, meaning placing very heavy items at the top with no similar or heavier item on the lover shelves to help reduce tipping over. Overall good shelf that is good for various rooms in a home or office, well thought out design and it looks nice.

I like the composition and size of thei furniture. Drawer is not stable

Once I figured out the directions, it went okay. It took a couple of hours to put together by myself - using only the screwdriver provided. Your hands will appreciate you if you use a battery powered screwdriver.The shelving unit is stable, even without affixing it to the wall. I’m sure this will be a welcome addition to our home.

This is great. Assembly was very easy, around 45 minutes or so to complete. It is heavy. So be prepared for that. Once you get it together, there is no worries about balance or being able to bear the weight of anything. If you are a big reader of larger, heavy books and want something you don't have to worry about, this is perfect.
