Vagabond Definitive Edition, Vol. 1: Volume 1

This is my first manga, and it was a slow one to start to a really strong story. From the first chapter, it hooks you in hard and then settles into a much slower, dialogue stretch, but the character writing carries it. I liked it enough to buy the second and third volumes straight after. The art style is genuinely excellent, and a tip I would say is to buy from an alternative marketplace like Travelling Man rather than Amazon — the packaging is far greater and I got lucky here avoiding a damaged cover.

This is an amazing start to a strong story. It makes me want to buy the next volume. If you like a story with action and philosophy then vagabond is a great manga. The art is also beautiful. Invincible under the sun is just peak fiction.

What can I say. I classic Japanese story in graphic form the art work is great from a well known school/studio artist(s). A graphic novel to be revisited - if you haven't it to someone and not had it returned

Arrivato in anticipo sulla data stimata. Condizioni perfette. L’edizione è ottima: formato più grande di un classico volume “deluxe”, sovraccopertina semirigida non rimovibile, pagine a colori originali conservate… anche il prezzo è tutto sommato buono.

Ces premiers chapitres posent immédiatement de très bonnes bases. Le trait de Takehiko Inoue est ici tout simplement magistral : chaque planche respire la puissance, la tension et l’émotion. Un must-read pour les amateurs de manga seinen et de récits de samouraïs. Redécouvrir cette série sous un nouveau format rend la lecture des plus agréable. La fabrication est incroyable. Je conseille à tout fan du manga.
