LUCKYRUNES Live Moss 3-Pack for Reptile Enclosures & Terrariums,Fresh Reptiles Substrate

I spread this pack through 3 bioactive enclosures. Two are smaller and one is a massive 40 gallon breeder enclosure that is being established now. I hope these will grow in and spread like they say they will, they definitely perked right up when sprayed and I am excited to see what happens with them now. I put small patches in some areas and larger ones in others. I even did a couple experimental spots up high on wood. I am eager to see them grow in and spread out in my enclosures, and I am hoping they do so quickly as in about 3 weeks I plan to get inhabitants for the big enclosure. We'll see. As long as they root a bit they will do fine though I'm sure since I am just getting some dart frogs. So far though I am pleased and will probably buy more when I need moss again. I am hopeful that it will get established and grow in well. Live moss really brings an enclosure to life, and it is beautiful to look at. :)

The moss arrived today, all three pieces labeled. They are all very dry and crispy but it says on the bags that they will revive once they're misted with water. It's December 14th and I'm going to wrap them up for Christmas but misted them once very lightly and I hope that's okay for the next 10 days. One of the small pieces has a tear in the center of it. I don't think it will be that big of a deal if it grows, but I thought it's worth mentioning. I also should have paid closer attention to the listing -- I didn't realize one of the pieces of moss likes really, really moist conditions. We're going to use these pieces of moss in enclosures for Western Black Widows which, generally, tolerate a much more dry environment compared with other spiders. For that reason, I'm not sure how well this little piece of moss will do. I'm excited about the other two pieces though. I don't think they came with care or growth instructions -- for example, do I need to put them on some kind of substrate or will they be okay as they are on the piece of "fabric"? I'm assuming I don't need to remove that piece of fabric, right? So other readers know what you get -- there are two 4"x4" pieces of two different mosses (Eurohypnum leptothallum and another one) and then one 4"x8" piece of a third moss. I wrapped them all before I got their names so I'll try to update this review after Christmas. They all seem to be in fine condition if they come back to life with a bit of water and except for one tear/rip in the center of the Eurohypnum leptothallum. For the price, I recommend this product if you're looking for a few pieces of moss.

I am very happy with the 3-pack mixed moss (1 sheet each of 3 different types of moss). The sheet arrived looking like dried, dead moss but quickly come back to life within 2 hours after i misted and soaked each sheet in water. The moss turned nicely green the next day! I bought 4 different types of moss from 3 different seller (2 from this same seller), and I am most happy this purchase. Would recommend and buy it again myself!

Most of the moss seems to be doing ok, but not great. For the price I expected better results.

Bought for my tort terrarium. Perked right up and he loved it. It didn’t seed like I thought so it eventually dried up but I figured that would happen. It also wasn’t quite as big as I had hoped but still super happy with it

I have mixed feelings about the Moss. Let's start with the positives. It is so soft. Once you've missed it down, you realize what a good purchase you made. It's three different types in one bag. I'm not sure if I like that because it seems like each Moss has a different way of being taken care of. One of our moths patches has died. It also seems as if it should spread but it doesn't. Each moss patch measures about 4inx6in, so they're not very large. They blend right in with the environment of the tank, and work perfectly in creating the space. It's a nice little grassy knoll for us to sit the basking platform on top of. He enjoys burying under it and feeling the warmth of his heat lamp under the "grass" but it's really the Moss! Two of our patches are green, one of our patches is brown. Either way, it works with the variety of change in the terrarium. It was easy to take them out of the bag put them in the tank and spray them off. Everyday. We just spray them with a mist to keep the tank humid and keep the moss patches wet. It's a great to buy. I think my turtle seems happy!

I got this Moss and I got so much more it was so beautiful to start I couldn't wait to put it in my crested gecko cage on the flooring and get a bioactive thing closure for it it was so perfect I had too much LOL but don't stop giving that amount hahaha but this was amazing loss and I bought a lot from around the web and this is the best I have found! I will buy again on my next bio active project! And if you were trying to build a terrarium that has a small neck this Moss is the most palatable that I found where it would easily band and go through the neck which I plan to do with the extra that I got!

This worked very well for what I needed. I have a memorial garden for my son with a Hobbit House and I needed a moss roof. I was very plesaed with how this moss worked. I watered it, it worked, and looked great.

Lovely and easy to pin on because it has a backing . Won't stand up to most rampaging reptiles . Lol Be great for frogs and moist hides.

Very live mosses, 3 packs I received were good and healthy. You just have to make a pot bed and hydrate it with water spraying.

1 of the 3 moss is wilting away in my terrarium. Not sure if its worth the $42 I paid for it.
