EXIT: The Game - The Magical Academy

We had so much fun playing this game! Easy to learn. It is a bit more investment of time, but worth it. Interesting storyline. Players included an old man, some 20-30 year olds, and a kid (played as a family).

Fun and challenging for my 11 year old son. Great amount of clues to keep him entertained for a couple of hours. The design is creative and it's nice and compact. Good quality for the price. Just wish it was reusable.

Exit games are some of the best escape-room-in-a-box game out there. The game mechanics take a little bit of getting used to the first time you play but every box has a same mechanics of how to verify each answer so once you do it once you’re good to go. The puzzles are incredibly clever and no other game makes you think outside the box quite as much as this brand. This one is no different - a solid and enjoyable game. Make sure to look at the level of difficulty on the box. The puzzles are slightly easier and the way forward a bit more clear for fewer stars.

This is our 3rd or 4th game purchased. They're fun and we'll worth the money. Some of the puzzles are easy and you'll over think it while some may require more patience. This was purchased for my 10yr old. She's not a "puzzle person" so my wife and I will finish it. Definitely fun if you like these things and be sure to keep everything by where you're playing .... the box, instructions, everything.

We love playing these games as a family! They are challenging but so fun. Some take us longer to do but it's time spent together making memories

I love exit games. Not sure if there is a bad one.

This was a really difficult level 2. I would have ranked this one as a level 3 or even 4. It started out decently but ended up with riddles that didn’t even make sense even after we read the solutions. We’ve played much better Exit games than this one.

These escape rooms can only be used once, but they are good. It the closest thing to a real one. Unlock and others are good, but the one time use allows you to get more creative. I’d say more, but don’t want to ruin it for you.

We've done a lot of Thames and Kosmos puzzle escape rooms and this was the best yet. Nice colourful puzzle and well put together puzzles

This is a third or fourth puzzle box from EXIT games that we've purchased and played, each one was unique and none so far have used the same riddle mechanics so each box feels like playing for the first time. The puzzles hit that sweet spot of being challenging but not impossible to figure out with only the material from the game itself, each one gives you that "ah ha!" moment when you solve it. It's basically an escape room in a board game format.
