Offa's Dyke South XT40 (Harvey National Trails XT40) (Route Map)

I have used Harvey's maps for other long distance walks so I had no hesitation in ordering this one.It only covers half the trail so I will need another purchase next year when I finish the trail.Notation is easy to read and is almost waterproof so the map is easy to read even in this year's dreadful weather.Notation is not identical to Ordnance survey maps which occasionally leads to confusion about whether a path is a right of way, but this is only relevant if going off the main route.Buying this map saves you from buying a large number of OS maps so is much cheaper.You also need a descriptive trail guide but you could probably manage without one.

Just used this to walk the path. I used viewranger app (free) alongside it when i did get lost as the map doesn't help in small fields and I did every now and then go the wrong side of a hedge or the wrong angle over a field. I might be a bit rubbish with a map though as I am in experienced.

This map saves carrying several OS maps with you. So far on the trail (Chepstow to Monmouth) I have found it very useful and have mainly relied upon it. However at times I have had to refer to other maps (such as those in my Cicerone Guide) to confirm the route. Nevertheless, a very good buy.

A great map covering everything I needed to know. I have several of these Harvey maps around the country and find them just right. They are water proof as well which helps.
