Dream Camera
I'm kinda biased on this given that I wanted one ever since it came out. But now that we have it, let me tell you, it was more that we hoped for. Great image quality, precise and very reliable autofocus, internal stabilization for handheld shots, very customizable menus, friendly interface, lots of extra features, and let me tell you, plenty of different and useful light metering tools. Camera itself tells me its clipping points on the zebras for example. And the internal spot exposure meter gives precise numbers on screen (+2.3 STOPS for example) Don't know why other brands don't have this kind of precise reading. I now keep it on always and it reads exactly as my Sekonic light meter. I sometimes shoot on Sony too and this is by far better for me. Don't miss FX3s at all and I try to avoid them now that I found greener pastures lmao. I know there's a bias towards MFT sensors, but trust me, I have never thought the sensor to be less sensitive to light than others. I light my scenes the same way as I've always have with Sony. I use it on the 500 native ISO. Clean image all around. Lots of latitude in editing for color. Completely sharp subjects. Only complaints I have are that, to use the Variable Frame Rate mode to record on a SSD you have to buy the Original AC Adapter from Panasonic, which is kinda annoying and more expensive. I use a Kondor Blue AC Adapter, so right now that function is off limits until we buy a CFExpress Card. Also, the batteries run out very fast. They don't last long. This has happened to me with Blackmagic cameras too. If you buy this for video, consider rigging it with a V-Mount plate. You'll thank me later. Great camera all around. Already shot a short film with this and we are in love with the results. Shooting a full length movie soon with this camera alone. Cheaper than other cameras on this range that do the same or even less. Worth your buck. You'll get more than you expect!

The bests videocentric camera that I have ever used
So I've had the Panasonic GH5 for about four years, Iโve been itching to upgrade to something else mainly because of the auto focus and a couple other minor stuff. When I saw the GH7 came out. I was excited to give it a try. I read a lot of reviews watched a lot of YouTube videos and within maybe a week after the release date I decided to go ahead and order it for myself and I'm not disappointed I've used it extensively. I've put it into a camera rig with a bunch of other stuff that I bought here on Amazon and it is the perfect camera for what I need. I generally shoot long events maybe 3 to 7 hours maybe longer sometimes, so I wanted a camera that does not overheat has great recording options and something with better auto focus than the GH5 and this is definitely it. I got two VMOUNT batteries and a 5.5 inch monitor and it's been working perfectly for me and what I need it for. I don't need anything more so hopefully I'll have this for many years to come.

good camera.
For my money, the best run & gun camera money can buy in 2025, sensor size doesn't matter here. Incredible IQ and feature set, built like a tank. 32 bit float handle is a must. bought this used, was pleasantly surprised by the quality for the price (knock on wood).
