Seems like unboxed version. Downloaded VLC player and then worked perfectly to play dvd videos

China made, no warranty, does the job
The media could not be loaded. It is not branded, came in orange color box, with no specific instructions. Does not have warranty. It worked well with MacBook Air. You will notice the sound when the drive is running. Copying rate is decent, although the noise it makes is noticeable. China made, so not sure how long it will last. For now it is doing the job.

No Brand Name
Product has no brand name, however it works well. Does take few mins to read the disk which is normal and does give no indication of files sometimes, will post detailed review after through use

Easy Peasy
I am of the 'pin-ball era' , yet I found this Unitek cd player/reader to be extremely easy to plug and play . I have been able to rip music to my lap top , and play cd's as well . I read all negative reviews (as always) , and I don't have any of the problems the nay sayers had . Works well for me !
