Samsung Galaxy S24+ Plus 5G, US Version, 512GB, Onyx Black - T-Mobile (Renewed)

Really nice device. I couldn't really tell it was refurbished, besides the dent in the top right. Screen bright and beautiful, make sure to put Extra Brightness and Max out Vividness. I checked the Frames Per Second(FPS), it keeps at 120HZ like all the time even with Power Saving(all options unchecked in settings - still limits background activity) on and "Light" performance profile. Where Apple caps almost everything at 60-80HZ... Battery is good, it last me at least a day on a full charge. UI is pretty good. Almost never gets hot. One thing I find really cool, if you get the USB Type-C to HDMI cable, you can connect it to a monitor and it becomes a computer. You can hook up your Bluetooth mouse and keyboard and your good to go. It got 12GB of RAM, with SnapDragon Gen 3 Processor, just in an insane combo. The S24+ doesnt have the washed out effect like the S24 Ultra. The Ultra came with the non-reflective coating that completely destroyed the color quality of the phone. This phone screen visually is brighter, and saturation is better, but does have the reflection problem. I had the S24 Ultra and returned in the same week when it came out. My biggest gripe with S24+, and now with the entire android platform is Google. Almost every App thats in Google Play Store, is developed using Google Firebase, with Analytics. At least 80% of all apps contain Analytics. The analytics can measure what buttons you tap, how long you spend on the screen, etc. I find this deeply invasive, and hence nothing on the Android phone is private when you pair it with Google Play backend telemetry. If I go on Apple they decouple the telemetry, so its not associated with your account, Google on the otherhand does not do that. Apps on Android have a lot more room to run in the background as well.

Got this for my dad, and works as expected. Worked with tmobile as soon as we put the Sim card in and so far he hasn't had any issues. Had some minor scratches and such on the back of the phone, but that is normal with refurbished phones. Other than that, the phone performs well and a phone case covers the scratches anyway.

I bought this phone expecting a standard, working device. Initially, everything was fine. However, I have discovered a critical software flaw that prevents the phone from receiving any updates. This means the device is already significantly outdated and will become a security risk. ​The core issue: ​Stuck on Old Software: The phone is running One UI version 6.1 and Android version 14. While others are receiving the new One UI 8.0 update, my phone is completely locked out. ​Outdated Security: The device claims it is "up to date," but the actual software information shows a Security patch level of November 1, 2024. This means the phone has not received a security patch in an entire year (as of late 2025) and is vulnerable. ​Technical Confirmation of the Problem: ​When attempting a manual software update, the system reports the following information, which confirms the update mechanism is broken: ​Update information: One UI version: 6.1, Android version: 14 Current version: S926USQU4AXK5 / S926UOYN4AXK5 / S926USQU4AXK5 Security patch level: November 1, 2024 ​The retailer's response confirms this is a severe and unfixable flaw: ​I contacted my carrier, Amazon, and the manufacturer (if applicable). Amazon's technical support provided a definitive, alarming response: ​"FOTA is also not supported in this version. (210) The version of the device is NOT supported. (No delta for the version)" ​This technical response indicates that the specific software build on this phone is not recognized by the standard update server and cannot receive the necessary "delta" (the small file needed to transition from the old version to the new one). This confirms the phone is permanently stuck on this outdated and potentially insecure version. strongly regret this purchase and cannot wait to replace this phone with a new one bought elsewhere. Please do not make the same mistake.

I've been using the Galaxy S24+ for about 2 weeks and honestly it's been awesome. The screen is super crisp, the phone feels really fast, and the battery lasts way longer than I expected, even with social media, videos, and music throughout the day. The camera takes great pictures with almost no effort, and everything just works smoothly. I was also surprised by some of the AI features—they're actually pretty useful. Overall, I'm really happy with this phone and feel like it's definitely worth the upgrade. No complaints so far!

My son has Type 1 Diabetes and has needed a cell phone since he was diagnosed for tracking his glucose monitor and allowing us to track it. He has always used a Samsung, and he needs to have a fairly current model because the apps the monitoring companies use require certain specifications (like most current system updates). When his S20 wouldn't update anymore we upgraded to this and so far it has worked great. The only complaint I have is that the transfer from the old phone to new phone was not as smooth as other phone brands. I have transferred phone data for myself and my kids a LOT of times and every time, the apps and wallpaper and everything transfers, you don't even hardly know you have a new phone. This one only initially uploaded all the "spam" crappy apps from Samsung that you don't want or need, and with his Google account some of the Google stuff did transfer. However, I had to do a lot of toggling back and forth between his old and new phones to get the rest of his apps and data transferred and it was a pain and took way too much time! We also had to re-log in to many apps which I haven't had to do with other phone transfers so yeah. But the battery life on this is great, the camera is really nice, screen is a bit larger (not a ton) than the past models, and operating system is user friendly.

Exactly as described! Perfect condition, unlocked and I easily moved my Sim from old phone to this and it was immediately recognized on my T-mobile account. Very happy!

This phone has worked really well I had a s22 before and that is 24 is really good not a lot of different features so you have to get used to so it was really easy to just transition to this one and the camera is amazing

Had it just 2 weeks but love it so far. Phone looks brand new and functions like a new phone.
