This hairbrush was everything the description said. After years of buying hairbrushes that didn’t perform as I wanted, I tried this one. It doesn’t snag, pull or just get caught. I have very fine and thin hair, and now I don’t put off brushing, it actually feels good for the first time in 60 years!

I have straight hair, my oldest son has loose curls and my youngest son has tight curls - this brush works amazing for each of us. I’ve tried at least three different brushes before this for my children’s sensitive scalps and this is the first one where no one cries about having their hair brushed. It’s fantastic at detangling. Love the design. Unbelievably good, buy this!

Brushes have been known to break when I use them, so I usually go for the heavy, sturdy looking variety. However, I was persuaded to try this one because it’s made from better materials than the average plastic hairbrush.This is a strange brush. It’s thin and lightweight-feeling. I like that it’s made from natural materials – plant fibers – and also that the packaging is recyclable. It arrived in a nice box, so it was undamaged during transit, which was great too.The brush was much more lightweight than I was expecting. The bristles are the thin kind, and I usually don’t trust those to get through my hair. Being honest here, I didn’t want to like this brush. I took one look at it and thought, “Oh, no wonder it’s cheap”. The handle is thin, and doesn’t feel solid in my hand. BUT… when I actually tried the brush (because I have to do that, as a reviewer, of course), I found that it worked a lot better than I expected! Maybe it’s because of the flexible top part, but it actually went through my hair without any of the bristles coming off, and I’ve been using it since, with no issues at all! Admittedly, I’ve been using it when my hair is dry, because I don’t brush my hair wet, so I don’t know how well that would work, but it feels great on my scalp too!At the current price of $6.99, this is a lot better than I was expecting. It doesn’t get a 5-star review because the handle isn’t as comfortable as I’d have liked it to be, but apart from that, it’s working well.

I buy them and they just do not work better than a thick bristled comb, so I always end up giving them to a loved one. The only brush I have owned and kept is a smoothing brush for doing specific hairstyles and my vintage thick bristled comb. Until now.This brush is amazing. I got it on a whim and I am so glad I did. I thought the design was silly looking but in function... I am very VERY impressed.Upon opening the box I was not expecting much. It smelled like that straw plastic stuff (odor washed out in one wash) and the wiggly moving back of the brush seemed silly. I was not impressed until I used the brush. I use it on my wet hair AND my dry hair and it does not hurt. The bristles are soft, pliable and move with the movement. And the structure of the back of the brush also allows for more give.I really love it.

Brushes that have some give to them are good for detangling fine or damaged hair because it doesn't aggressively pull through the tangles. This may not be tough enough for thick hair but is super helpful for the more fragile types like curly or fine or child's. I have used "wet brush" type brushes for a while since my hair has aged turning from normal to a more finer texture. I can't be as rough as I used to be so I switched to more gentle brushes. I find these are great for wet hair as well, not just dry. First, I love the color and the tips are balled to prevent scratching. They are solid dipped/attached to the shafts so there is no snagging along the joined areas. The design is very different but I have seen similar designs in stores for much more than the price here. The swirled cutaway acts as a spring allowing for flexibility against the scalp so it can conform to the head shape. I found it very soothing and gentle, even when pressing hard it is not rough. I have not cleaned it yet but should be very easy. I also have not used it for blow drying so can't speak to how well the air floes between the openings.
