Jigsaw Sudoku: 200 Medium Jigsaw Sudoku Puzzles Volume 1

I do a lot of sudoku puzzles, and while I am not an expert by any stretch of the imagination, I'm fairly good at it. I usuallg do Dell sudoku puzzle books, and I enjoy the medium to hard levels in those collections. These puzzles are not medium level, at least what I consider medium. I think most of them are actually hard to expert level. I can do them, but they take a really long time. I am finding them arduous and therefore just not that much fun to do. I was looking for something challenging, but fun, and this collection is too much work for me.

This book is a bargain at the price. The puzzles are indeed "medium" -- definitely not a breeze to solve, yet not killer-difficult, either. There are two puzzles to a page and the numbers are in a large enough font to make them easy to read and to work. It's well designed in that respect. With 200 puzzles in the book., I'll get a lot of hours out of this. A great purchase.Best of all -- there are a number of follow-up editions to keep me puzzling.

I was surprised to learn that the puzzles in this book were not fun and satisfying but actually felt more like a task I must complete while gritting my teeth. In only a few of these puzzles did I ever get to that point where a particular number begins to unlock the key to eventually solving the puzzles. I've never worn out erasers as I did in this book. The only good thing about this book is the quality of paper stock. These puzzles angered and frustrated me about 90% of the time.

Great book. As others have said difficult but mostly solvable. My only objection relates to the pages with the answers. The print is so small you need good light and a magnifying glass to read them. Too bad. It really is a fun book if you love sudoku.

My husband and I love these jigsaw sudoku puzzle books. They're great! They are more challenging than the regular sudoku puzzles.These puzzles keep our aging minds engaged and alert. The borders of each puzzle vary in size and shape so you have to be watchful of where each number goes. So much more fun than the older square shaped puzzles. We turn off tv and challenge each other to a sudoku race using two of the same books. We have completed over 75 puzzles in a few weeks. Forget the tv. Spend some time together doing these fun puzzles.

This is my favorite type of Sudoku puzzles and they are difficult to find. These are a good little challenge, which I like. There are two puzzles per page for 200 in all and will last a good long time. Can't get enough of this fun, challenging puzzles!

I enjoy the challenge of doing the jigsaw sudoku. I usually do sudoku in pen (pencil can be very messy). I usually can finish a typical puzzle; few have challenged me to the point of having to check the answers to see where i went wrong. These puzzles really do stimulate the mind. I have worked the triangle sudoku, the mathematical sudoku, and various other types. I took of one star as i WISHED these puzzle books were ALL SPIRAL-BOUND.

These are different from the usual Sudoku puzzles, with irregularly shaped areas instead of squares. I much prefer this version of Sudoku. A more interesting challenge.

Excellent. Perfect size, 2 per page, large enough to write possible numbers. Good paper so pen marks cant be seen on reverse.
