Order a size up.
Got a large like all other gym/PT shorts. They fit, but not loosely enough that I feel comfortable they'll last super long in the gym doing lower body workouts. Still, they have pockets and make senior NCOs angry, so 5 stars.

Run extremely small but they look great
So I followed the advice of going a size up up I usually wear a size medium so I I ordered a size large I would reccomened going two sizes up the large is a bit tight

Answer to years of prayers
These shorts are awesome. I have wished our pt shorts had pockets for years, searched every now and then online to see if anyone had done it, considered going to a sew shop off base but didn’t. In addition to the pockets which can fit a phone easily, they also have in my opinion a stronger waist cinch. Bottom line, pockets. Bought size large and fit as expected.

Longer and tighter =not good
If you're in the Army and thinking of purchasing these for practicality and convenience while in PTs, I do not recommend. They are longer than your standard trunks and run a good bit tighter in the thighs. Not the inner netting either but the shorts themselves. Having pockets is a very attractive prospect but, trust me, it won't turn out how you're thinking. I purchased the XL.

Great idea, needs larger options
As the other reviews point out, the shorts run small compared to the official APFU shorts, hopefully they will offer XXL or 3XL options down the road.Pockets are also small, my Pixel 6 Pro sticks out of the pocket.

Definitely looks like normal PT shorts.
There’s nothing very different about these pair of shorts other than the pockets, but they are not noticeable AT ALL. I still use them tho lol.

Flawed design with draw string spring clasp, also inner layer is too small
I received this item and the draw string cord lock was broken. I returned it for a replacement. The next pair the draw string cord lock broke after one use. There is a weak point and flaw in the design, easily receives irreversible damage by the force of the spring during normal use. Also, these run small. With standard issue I wear a Large; but with these I ordered XL and the inner layer is so tight it is very uncomfortable. It's too bad because I really wanted to like these but there are issues with the product that need to be fixed.

It’s so comfy
It’s really comfortable I was expecting something that would be a little restrictive and uncomfortable to be in but I’m ready to fall asleep in these there comfortable
