My husband's coffee machine has been sitting unused for a while since he didn't have the chance to clean and descale it. I got these for him so that he can clean and use the machine again. They're very compact, easy to use, and does that job! We will definitely get it again to help keep our coffee machine running since the price is not bad at all.

These cleaning tablets work really well. They cleaned up my espresso machine and descaled it wonderfully. They're easy to use, don't take long to clean, and the work really well.

I’ll be honest, when I ordered these tablets, I was under the impression that they were for descaling, meant to be dropped into the water reservoir to clean out any buildup in the tubing. It turns out, they’re actually for backflushing, a process I wasn’t familiar with.You need a specific type of espresso machine with a compatible pump for this to work. It’s worth checking your manual or using a blind portafilter basket to see if your machine is capable of backflushing. If it lacks a solenoid valve, the water won’t go back into the machine, it's one-way.The listing images show that these tablets are also for cleaning bottles. I gave it a shot with my drinking bottles and coffee carafes, and I must say, they did a decent job. While they can’t replace a good scrubbing with soap and a bottle brush, they do a good enough job without any brushing. They're great if you're not feeling up to cleaning.The included puck screen is impressively sturdy, impossible to bend by hand, and seems like it will stand the test of time. I'm not sure how to compare it to other puck screens I own because at the end of the day they're just metal circles with holes in them.

This kit includes 10 espresso machine backflush tablets and a puck screen. I had to watch a video on YouTube to remind me of the backflush procedure for my Breville espresso maker but once I did it was a breeze. These tablets appear to work just as good as the originals.The puck screen helps maintain a more uniform flow of water from what I understand (less channeling) which makes the espresso stronger. It also has the added benefit of keeping the group screen (shower screen) clean. Make sure to keep the grinds high enough in the portafilter basket before placing it on otherwise it can be a bit difficult to remove. At the current price of $10 this is a great buy.

I do not have an espresso machine yet so I decided to see how this works on my regular coffee machine. It descales the machine pretty well. I put the tablet in the basket and ran the water through it once. That didn't dissolve the tablet so I dropped it into the carafe and waiting for it to dissolve, which it did in a matter a few minutes. I then ran it through the coffee machine again two more times. It cleaned up the machine nicely. I tend to do that with vinegar and then with baking soda in a different full carafe of water and get the same results, but I usually take up to an hour doing that. This was a lot quicker. For something you do maybe once a week or even less often, this is pretty good.

I thought cleaning our espresso machine would be a long process like with the Keurig, but these tablets were very easy to use, sat on the screen, dissolved well, and did a great job cleaning the oils from the chamber. The reusable puck screen is a nice touch. I highly recommend.🙂Note: I'm not a "give everything 5 stars" person. This is my honest opinion and I hope it helps in your decision.

I ordered these descaling tablets with a bonus stainless steel puck screen from Amazon, and they arrived quickly in a small box. Out of the packaging, I received 10 descaling tablets and a 53.5mm stainless steel puck screen. The tablets work great for my Breville Bambino, and the puck screen is also excellent, perfectly sized at 53.5mm for my Breville Bambino's bottomless portafilter. I tried the descaling tablets as soon as I received the package, and they cleaned my machine really well. I am very happy with this kit and highly recommend it.

The cleaning tablets appear to work ok. I used the puck screen once. I don't really get it's purpose and would rather not have an additional item to clean every use of my machine.

I was sceptical about the puck but it has seemed to have improved my daily coffee. I haven’t used the cleaning tablets yet but all reviews seem positive.

The item was supplied promptly and included a porta filter screen for Breville machine,unfortunately for me the screen is too small to use on my machine the Breville Oracle touch. At least the qty 10 bonus portafilter cleaner tablets can be used, so not a total loss.

The Puck Screen is of pretty good build quality. Fits quite tight in the puck basket. It is made of stainless steel, so rust isn't a concern yet. However, like any other stainless steel, it doesn't work well with magnets, so I yet to find an elegant way of removing it from the basket after each use instead of digging it out from my knock box... lolThe tablet is slightly taller than the Breville's, but no issue at all in fitting into the portafilter cleaning disk, and it gets the job done.Overall, pretty happy with this purchase.
