After a few weeks of use I have to say this is a pretty darn good mouse. I have rather large hands and it does feel a bit small to me and wish the mouse sat a little higher but it still fits comfortably. So I figured I would try to share a few things that I couldn't really find in other user reviews or reaffirm what has already be noted about the mouse. Pros: Fully customizable DPI from 50 DPI to 16400 DPI. You can adjust the DPI by 50 and even edit the x y axis DPI.(Not that I would make them different.) You can set the scroll speed for the scroll wheel on the mouse. You can create custom profiles for your different games. All the buttons and I mean all the buttons are customizable. You can set buttons to macros, combination keys, even things like copy and paste to locking your computer. Adjustable weights inside mouse. Strong and durable cord that is fairly long The surface of the mouse feels like it was rubberized. ( wierd at first but I like it ) Software is very intuitive and easy to use. I dont understand why people say its confusing it isn't. You don't need to be a techy to really understand it Lights are fully customizable to any color you want and even the brightness. ( you have a full color wheel to choose from ) You can set the lights to breathe (speed of breathing is customizable) If you dont like the breathing you can turn it off or the lights too for that matter. Rapid Fire button is fully customizable up to 255 clicks and as low as 2 with as little as 1 ms lapse between clicks. (I would not advise doing 255 for you will have to wait 255 ms till you want to do anything else. It would be great for FPS though since you can set it to your clip size and click once and unload your whole clip.) Cons: Depending on the size of your hand it may or may not be the most comforable though the weights help with comfort. If your like me and like wireless the fact that its not may be a con. Scroll wheel is not free spinning. Rapid fire key take some getting used to. ( I am not really used to it but I dont really use it. ) The 12 buttons on the side are easy to identify but if your not used to it it can take some adjusting. It's fine to me though. End of the day I cant think of a better deal since compared to like mouses for this price its a amazing deal. Mouse works perfectly. ** Update ** Had it for a few months now and it has survived my two year old. I don't think I will ever use a different mouse. I love it. ** Update ** 06/16/2016 It's been two years since I bought this mouse and it seems to start showing signs of giving out. To be fair it has been moved around a lot but all in all it was well used and taken care of. It seems the optical sensor is starting to die since the mouse sometimes doesnt like to move. I changed surface areas and still get isssue. Still works just may need to get a new one soon. Still recommend.

This mouse is another one of those incredibly awesome for the price type things. This type of mouse obviously has a small overall market being targeted at basically only the MMO crowd, It really is a nice feeling mouse. The tracking of this mouse is slightly above your average mouse in this $25 - $40 price range, However it does a kind of odd feel to the tracking. I can say honestly that this wouldn't be my first pick for something such as sniping on a precision first person shooter, But it's still better than a lot of mice *for* it. The mouse supposedly has an 18 month warranty which is great, Inside the box you get replacement feet (or pads) for the bottom of the mouse in case they peel off. Or at least I think that's what they're supposed to be. You get a MINI DISC for the drivers, However you can download these on their website (Redragonzone.com) The usual instruction manual, and a warranty registration card from ChallengerUSA. The software that comes with the mouse is relatively simply to use, You can make five different profiles, This includes being able to individually set different DPI settings, side buttons, and front(top) buttons, Which can be mapped to most button combinations that I've tried. My favorite combinations involve using Shift + a number key or F key. This makes hotkeys in a lot of MMOs very easy to reach for those who struggle to do so. You have 12 side buttons, And though I've seen complaints for them being hard to press, I actually find them extremely easy to remember and hit. Ever since the first time I've used the mouse I've had no issue. Due to how they're positioned, It's easiest to describe it as thinking of it as two sets of six keys, Row one and two of the buttons slant towards each other like this \ /, With the five key having a raised bump to it so you know exactly where you're thumb is, And the same goes for the third and forth row. Only instead of the raised bump being on the five, It's the key closest to the five, the 8 key. The finish on this mouse is probably one of the best I've personally seen (At least on the black version), It feels "grippy" to me, Which is something I personally like, The build quality seems very nice, However due to the short period of time I've owned this mouse, I can't say anything for the durability of the side buttons. On one of my previous mice(Different manufacturer, Different mouse), The side buttons wore out prematurely, So this can of course be a concern. Should something happen where a button stops responding as it should, I'll come back and revise this to reflect on that. Overall, This is one of the best mice you can use for MMO's, Due to it's shape it fits snuggly in the hand and I never seem to suffer from my hand cramping up on the mouse, The buttons are more than easy enough to hit even out of the box, And the software is easy enough to maneuver. Having five different profiles is a must, And being able to have five different levels of DPI on each profile is also nice, Despite being somewhat unneeded. All the buttons to my knowledge seem to be able to be mapped, And it seems extremely solid. You always have to be careful buying offbrands, But this one is well worth it for those playing MMOs. Another update, Two years later! This mouse has still been an amazing product to me, I've had no issues at all in the two years I've owned this. All of the side buttons are still functioning normally, and the grip/texturing of the mouse is still perfectly fine without any obvious wear into it. I consider it such a comfortable mouse to hold that I've just instinctively been using it for everything as long as I'm not planning to play a shooter like Overwatch. This is by far the most amazing MMO mouse out there, even two years later. Disclaimer: I'd also like to note, It appears as though there's another similar looking product by Redragon and I'm unsure if the reviews are combined. This review is solely for the Redragon M901 Perdition, NOT the M990 Legend. Again, This review does NOT address the M990 Legend. Edit almost a year a later(Old update), I feel it was time to come back and update this review, This mouse still functions, looks, and feels just as good as it did on day one. I've noticed no changes on the "grippy" feel that I mentioned previously which was at one point a big concern for me which has now been put to rest. The Omron switches on the side of the mouse have given me zero issues so far. I'd like to say that this mouse somehow ended up becoming my daily driver except for when I play FPS games. This mouse is just too comfortable for something as casual as an MMO or RTS. I've noticed no hand fatigue while using the mouse (Palm), And I'd say the buttons are still just as easy for me to accurately hit as I stated before. I use every single button this mouse has almost every day. If this mouse were to somehow take I dive (I doubt this will happen as it seems like it's a tank at this point) I would fully and whole-heartedly buy this mouse again, Nothing will replace it for me. The only new con I can add to this mouse has to do with mouse acceleration, Something many of you will dislike. When you start pushing past the 8,000 DPI mark, You'll notice obvious mouse acceleration. I'm uncertain if others will notice it before that point, I'm just your slightly above average Joe who just wants to properly review this mouse. I have now tried the Logitech G600 MMO mouse, I personally feel the shape of it is terrible, And the side buttons just aren't intuitive in comparison. I've also tried a Utech Venus, It seems to be exactly the same as this Redragon Perdition besides a small lip at the bottom, I strongly dislike the lip Utech has as my thumb gets stuck on it, And the grip isn't near as nice. And lastly the Razer Naga, It honestly deserves my second favorite MMO mouse award, But I still have to give credit where it's due, To me this Redragon Perdition stomps it. I again have an issue with the buttons having no real indication where your thumb will be, The grip is fairly similar and honestly it seems to track just a tad better. Why this is I wouldn't know, But I believe they use the same or similar sensor (I could be very wrong about this, Do your homework) however I did end up experiencing the double click issue on it, And it costs $20 more. There's no incentive to buy the Naga over the Perdition, If you're looking at a mouse with this many buttons for an MMO or RTS, I think you'd want the easiest design to learn and get used to so I take huge points off the Naga for this one thing. In my opinion, The ONLY MMO mouse worth buying is this beautifully built Perdition. Save yourself the money, Get this over the Naga and be happy. I'd also like to note, It appears as though there's another similar looking product by Redragon and I'm unsure if the reviews are combined. Alright, I had this mouse for a while now. Like 6 months now. Figured it'd be best to test drive it and all before I praised, or condemned this item. So here we go. The Redragon M901 Perdition edition is fantastic in many ways, with minor downfalls. I've never owned any top tier mice before, mostly just for the cheap 20$ mice from your local Walmart or BestBuy. And I didn't expect to big of a difference between mice, but was I wrong. But before I get to ahead of myself I'll just split this into more detailed subsections. The Design: The design feels great, for those who are right handed and have medium to large hands that is. I have had a few others hold it and they also agreed it feels great, although those with smaller hands had to adjust there positioning to make it work right and even than couldn't get the bottom row buttons, so if you're a small handed person beware. Nonetheless, it felt great holding, with the nice groove over making your thumb rest on the top 2 rows of the side buttons, while you can easily slide or use your thumbs joint like I do, to press the lower section. The buttons themselves are relatively easy to push, but not so easy that you will press them when you don't mean to. It has a nice grip feel to it, that's also relaxing and has yes to cause cramping in my hands after 4 hours of gameplay. The texture of the material is also nice, I was expecting a glossy like finish from how the picture looks with the glare, but instead I was met with a light sand paper like feel, imagine like 400 grit sand paper. It wasn't over intrusive as in to make you notice it, but it wasn't faded that it would be completely missed. It give's it a nice gripping for when things get heavy in the game, but is soft to the touch for the light internet browsing. So far this texture has yet to fade or show wear which is great. Than there's the all important right and left clickers, they are one with the shell of the rest of the mouse, excluding the scroll wheel, and click lightly but nicely. My only concern is that I may one day end up clicking on it to hard and repeatedly that they might break, the Steam Summer Sale Game gave me this concern so much I downloaded an auto clicker just to be safe. Perhaps I'm just to overly cautious. Carrying on. There's the scroll wheel and the DPI + and - buttons. The scroll wheel is ripped and feels nice, made of rubber, and is quick to scroll with, it lacks the left/right clicking most gaming mouses have these days but that doesn't really bother me. The DPI button's are nice and out of the way, in a concave like wall around them so you don't end up clicking them when you don't need too. Which brings me to another point, the extra red button you see on the left is used to switch profiles, i'll get to more on those in a bit, which I find myself sometimes to end up sliding over it and clicking it switching through. Maybe it's just me though, the designers did try and elevate it up some as to keep you aware of where it is. There's also a nice groove on the right side of the mouse to relax you ring finger on, which adds to the comfortably of it all. Lastly the lights are pretty, there's a nice breathing effect, with varrying speeds, and completely always on, or just an off selection if you're not a fan. The Software The mouse comes with a disc with all the software and drivers. If you don't have a disc drive like me fear not! Just head over to there website and download it all from there, plugging in the mouse will get you the drivers, or just use of the basic drivers so you can accomplish such a step. The Software is easy to install with no hassle, and once it's done you can add it to your desktop or not whatever. I did because I like to customize the settings every so often and want to keep it right at the tip of my finger. The Software use is pretty straight forward, the mouse comes with 5 profiles, each of which can be set to a different playstyle, for example I have profile set for CoD and other FPS games, while I have another set up for The Old Republic and other MMO's, and even one set up for internet browsing because why not? Starting from the main screen you can adjust the button assignments, and by that I mean everything that's clickable can be changed. You want your right click to be linked to Shift? Sure you can do that. You can add shortcuts, hot keys, single keys, make it lock your PC or disable a button completely, to any of the buttons. It's very nice to have all this control, and it makes having all these options pretty neat. Can change the acceleration and poll rate here also which is nice, maybe on profile one you want to be able to turn quickly in an FPS so you increase it all to the max, but profile 2 you got a MMO that you don't want to turn so fast when you move just an inch. Second screen allows you to adjust the DPI of all 5 different levels for each individual profile. But wait, you can unlink the XY axis so that you can increase your Y and not your X, why would you do that? Well now you can look up and down at crazy speeds, while looking left and right at average speeds, at least that's what I did for FPS games. You can also disable the levels if you want to which is considerate of them. Than you got the light settings, you can choose a color from a select assertion of colors provided, or find the right shade of color you want via a color slider. You can make the lights super bright, or dim. Can also add in a breathing effect, solid effect or turn them off. Only one problem I found, rather inconvenient, is that the scroll wheel light is not customizable, nor can it be turned off either. You are stuck with the 5 preset colors of yellow, green, blue, magenta, and red. So if you want say, white as your color of choice, than you can have it as the logo and side buttons, but your scroll wheel will be one of the aforementioned colors depending on what level you are set at. This bothers me to a degree, but I looked past it because, well besides me, who else is going to see the mouse anyways and see what whacky color system I have going on? Verdict I love this mouse, it's comfy, cheaper than other gaming mice, and is easy to use. There's a lot of custumization to it that feels great and makes it feels like it's MY mouse. On a scaled of 1-10 I'd give it a 9.8 just due to that last gripe I have. Would I buy this again? Most definetly. Maybe I'd try for a newer version from Reddragon, see if they improve anything, but this mouse is pretty great and I don't see a need to get a different one.

I had a Death Adder and loved it but felt I needed more buttons as I wanted to get away from the reach of my G key macros from my keyboard. I felt I could be more efficient with the extra mouse buttons. I checked Amazon and ran across the Redragon lines. Unknown to me but they looked pretty good. I decided though I had some christmas gift cards from BB and I decided I loved my Adder so much why not go Naga. I tested it on the setup at BB and it felt alright albeit a bit smaller than the Adder but I went with it. I got home and within 20 minutes I seen my error. The shape of the naga is not the same as the Adder. What I mean the curvature of an Adder curves all the way to the mouse pad. The naga at the end of it's curve has about a 1" drop to the mousepad. Very uncomfortable for my play style and worried long term use might cause issues in my wrist. I immediately took it back and got a new mechanical keyboard that I was planning on adding eventually so I could get the use out of my gift cards. This left me with still wanting a mouse so as soon as I got home I looked at Redragon again. I looked at the picture gallery of the mouse to see how it's curvature worked. The pictures showed me it was similar to my Adder so I gave it a go. I got it a few days later as a Prime member so 5 stars on the shipping Amazon! The feel was close to my Adder. Not 100% which I never expected would be. It is slightly smaller in size but bigger than the Naga. What was important was the feel with the wrist. It feels great. Now that I got the feel lets get to the mouse dynamics: It has a ring finger rest. Not horrible just never have had one in the past. I feel I will get used to it. Don't get attached to the sound of 16400 DPI. If you can manage that kind of sensitivity you are beyond belief. That is just too much but thankfully it is highly adjustable. Mouse scroll feel good. Different than the adder but in a good way for me. Smoother without being too smooth. The mouse material is different for me as well. It is not distracting but I think if you get a sweaty palm or something else that causes your hand to want to slide it won't on this mouse. It is pretty subtle feel but you can sense it. The software that it comes with did not take long to figure out how to adjust. This is my first MMO mouse so it is a learning experience for me on side button configuration but I feel I got it on lock down now. The red button on the left of your left click button if your a first person shooter is an amazing burst fire. Instead of mash and hold and having a bad spray pattern this will have you in tight shape. The chord is that expensive mouse style of braided quality. If your into that then you will be happy. Every bit as good as my Adder. If your not well that is just how the more expensive ones seem to be now. Now the final part which is why I took the star off is the 12 button side buttons. If you were to sit the mouse on it's side and looked at the angles of the buttons they form a contour in the shape of a "w" 1-6 no prob to get to but 7-12 take effort to be accurate. Luckily I don't think I will need to get that deep into them. I have them bound right now to the least needed abilities but it is clunky to do regardless. The buttons are not difficult to press but they are just your typical buttons. The Naga has mechanical these are not. To me that is no big issues. I only deducted the star for the difficulty of the back 6. I hated doing so but want to give an accurate depiction of the mouse. Finally the biggest thing that almost gave it back that 5th star is the price. Naga 65-70 and Logitech is up there as well for their MMO mouse you cannot beat the price tag of the Redragon. So in conclusion if you are debating whether to take a chance on it over the bigger names of Razer or Logitech to name a few then do so. It is a great mouse thus far after a week of use. If it changes I will readjust but thus far I am very satisfied.

By far this has been the greatest peripheral purchase I have made. To start things off I purchased this originally in February of 2014 so I have had this for over 5 years at this point and I am finally just starting to have problems now after heavy daily use since I purchased it. At the time of purchase it was around $47 dollars and I would spend double that on this mouse. Now at $30 dollars this is an absolute no brainer. Durability: 10/10 I definitely beat this mouse up, after daily use for 5 years it’s held up very strong, the body of the mouse is very sturdy, one time I carelessly pulled it out of my backpack forcefully and the left click caught on to something and snapped the plastic right off. This was completely my fault though. To my surprise I was able to superglue it exactly in to place and you can’t even tell it ever broke and the left click has been working exactly as it had been. The Teflon pads are now worn down and scratched, but I also hadn’t used a mousepad for 4/5 of those years and that probably caused a considerable amount of wear, regardless that kind of wear can be expected after 5 years of heavy use. The braided cable has held up extremely well also. It comes with weights and you can customize how heavy you want the mouse, and a nice little case to store the weights you don’t use. The macro buttons are the reason I purchased this mouse. I never use the burst fire button for anything because I feel it’s a little out of reach for normal use, I think at one point I had it set as the microphone mute/unmute. The 12 number keys on the side are a joy. They are perfectly angled so that you know exactly which button you aren’t pressing and it didn’t take long to get used to it. Comparatively I purchased a used Razer naga epic to have as a backup, and I tried it out for a bit and I just couldn’t use it, the buttons were bigger, but completely flat and I never knew which buttons I was pressing and they were harder to reach all of them. Having the macro buttons increased productivity by a huge margin. For keys 1-4 I use those for gaming, 1,2,3 are just set to the numbers to say switch weapons in a game. I have 4 set to use my microphone so I don’t need to move any of my fingers on the keyboard that affects my movement. For 5 I have it set to ctrl, which I mainly use for single hand zooming by holding 5 and then using the scroll wheel to zoom in and out. Sometimes I use it for other shortcuts but I’m generally more used to pressing the key combinations on the keyboard anyway. 6 has been probably the single most useful key for me as I set it to “show desktop” which gives me an easy way to instantly minimize everything and clear clutter up. This is especially helpful when in games and you need to see your desktop. And I find it way more useful than alt tabbing. The remainder of the 6 keys I have set to strictly media, being volume up and down, mute, then play/pause, previous, next track and this gives me total control of my music and sound with one hand. The possibilities are endless with the macros and I found this to be the best for my use case. The software itself is slightly cumbersome and wonky, but it still works, and once you set it once, it gets stored on the mouse itself so you can move it from computer to computer and all of the settings will stay the same, which is also a huge plus. The software is still extremely powerful though and there is a lot you can do. Rgb is always a plus and definitely wasn’t as common in 2014 when I purchased this mouse. For my hands the mouse is extremely comfortable. Although I haven’t compared to too many different mouses, I’ve always found this one to feel the most natural. The mouse input has always been extremely snappy, and I feel like other mice don’t have that extra oomph of responsiveness. So just now after over 5 years of owning it, I am having some usb connectivity issues. Sometimes the mouse will randomly shut off and reconnect. Even then it does not happen extremely often but it is still probably a sign that it is close to the end of its life. However my expectations have been exceeded, and it’s great knowing that it’s even cheaper than when I first bought it, and definitely plan on replacing it with this mouse again. Even before I started having problems I have been wanting to purchase a second one of these just so I wasn’t moving it around all the time because it’s the only mouse I’ve wanted to use over the past 5 years. Also less time transporting it would probably mean less wear and tear on it. This mouse has definitely taken a beating while transporting it. Plenty of times it has been dropped on hard floors and it has survived this long.

Here's some interesting information that the gaming community needs to know about this mouse, coming from someone with far too much knowledge about gaming mice (and partnerships with the companies that make the laser and optical sensors). First and foremost, these "Cheap Chinese Mice" that get rebranded as MSI, Logitech, and whoever are really the same internals. What it really boils down to are the goodies inside. A mouse is a very simple peripheral that can be put into a few categories, which I will review individually. Switches, Sensor, Driver, Form, Aesthetics, and Other. Switches: This mouse uses really nice Omron switches. When it comes to long-life, good-quality switches, Omron is pretty much the king. Omron makes industrial switches, but also really high performance switches that go into things like gaming mice. These switches have very high precisions of actuation, meaning the amount of force required to press and trigger the switch is very precise. It also means that these mice are going to last through a lot of those games, whether you're playing an FPS or pushing it to the limit in a game like Torchlight. Sensor: There are two reigning champs in sensors. Avago and Philips. Avago makes incredibly good optical sensors and Philips is known best for their dual laser sensors. Both make really great sensors. This mouse has the highest DPI Avago sensor to date, which means that you could crank the DPI to an insane level and have incredibly precise tracking. For things like an FPS, this is pretty important. I want to say that not everyone needs this high DPI. It's just a very nice to have in such a cheap mouse. Driver: Some mice don't have drivers. In fact, most mice are simple HID (Human Interface Devices) and never get anything but a generic driver. So why is there a whole section for drivers? Well it does really matter on a mouse that has a bunch of buttons. These buttons have to be programmed and it matters if this programming is on the mouse or on the computer. Redragon was nice enough to have some onboard storage on the mouse so that when I configure this mouse, I can take it to any computer, plug it in as an HID, and use it with all of my profiles without setting up the driver. Nice! The drivers themselves are really nice, install quickly, save profiles one the mouse, can save them externally, have lots of configuration options. It very will thought out. The RGB lights on the mouse can be custom set, custom DPI modes can be set, every button on the mouse can be rebound to something else. Overall, they did an excellent job and I don't have a single complaint about the drivers. Form: The mouse itself is very ergonomic, whether you're a palm gripper or more of a claw gripper like myself. The side buttons were cleverly formed so that my thumb can press the front ones with the tip and the back ones with the ball. These side buttons, at first, seemed to be a little firmer than I wanted, but I soon realised this was well thought out so that I would not accidentally press buttons or press when I had to grip the mouse to lift it. The entire mouse is coated in a nice textured polymer that gives an excellent grip. It also gives more feedback for when I'm touching a button, as opposed to the rest of the mouse since they are different textures. The adjustable weights are a very nice touch. I prefer my mouse to be a bit lighter, so I only have 3 of the weights in. Someone who prefers a heavier mouse or who is used to a wireless mouse may want all of the weights in. This mouse also has side rests for my ring and pinky, which I hope is becoming more of a trend. My last mouse also had this, and I'm glad to have another with this form. I do hope there's a lefty version of this mouse, but for someone who's definitely a dedicated righty, it's nice to have a mouse that fits my hand for long use. Aesthetics: This mouse does come in a couple colors, which is nice. I chose the Black version, because all of my hardware and bezels are black. The red is a nice touch because it does add a splash of color. Being able to change the center "breathing" light color is also very nice for indicating special profiles. The Mouse wheel will change color with profiles and overall I really do like the looks of this mouse. I've never been a huge fan of some mice, namely the R.A.T. and some of the Razer mice, but this one is actually pleasant on my desk. It also has a red braided cable that gives a bit of color all the way back to my computer. Other: There are some things that don't fall into the other categories, so they fall into the "other" category! The USB plug is a bit large. If it's plugging into a laptop, it'll stick out pretty far, but it's nice that it's not going to break off and that it's easy to remove. As mentioned before, the cable is braided, which is really nice. It's not a removable cable. Some people call that a con, I count it as a huge pro because I never want my cable detaching mid game. Redragon was nice enough to send replacement teflon feet for the mouse because they assume you're going to game hard and wear them out. It has an 18 month warranty, which is unusual. It's not long or short, it's just unusual to be a year and a half. They do make other mice, too! If you're looking at mice, look at their other ones, too, you may find one that suits you more. I've actually purchased two mice from them because they suit two purposes. One is an MMO mouse and the other is for FPSs. Overall, I couldn't be more pleased with this find. I do highly recommend this and their other mice because they're really well crafted and well thought out.

I purchased this mouse after my Razer Naga 2014 broke (after only five months of use, too, which is a very common problem in Razer products). I'll do a direct comparison between the two mice: Ergonomically, this mouse feels great. I personally prefer the ergonomics of the Naga, but this one feels fine as well. You quickly adapt to it and experience no discomfort. As far as the buttons go, this mouse does well on its own. These side buttons are more "sticky" than the Naga's buttons, so you have to apply slightly more pressure to get a click, but this isn't noticeable or a real hindrance. Unfortunately, these buttons are not as easily distinguishable from each other as the Naga's buttons, and you have to spend some time adjusting to the placement of the each button before you're comfortable with using all of them. My thumb naturally sits on the 5 button (which *does* have an indent on it like the 'f' and 'j' keys on your keyboard) and it takes a small leap of faith to jump back to the 9 button, for example. The 1-6 buttons are easier to reach than the 7-12 buttons, and this is also true on the Naga. It should also be noted that the little red button to the left of the scroll wheel is too impractical to be used with frequency, and the scroll wheel does *not* move to the left and right. I'm also unable to reach the two buttons directly behind the scroll wheel (which change DPI by default). The software which comes with the mouse is more lightweight and easier to use than Razer Synapse. It allows you to make 5 custom DPI profiles (mouse sensitivities), which range from 50-16400 DPI. The 5 DPI profiles are linked to the color of the scroll wheel lights: yellow, green, blue, pink, and red. These 5 colors for the scroll wheel cannot be changed, but the colors for the side buttons and dragon emblem can be any color. It's worth noting that some shades of yellow appear green-ish and pale yellow appears white. Other than that, you can use the full color spectrum, and it looks quite pretty. This is something the Razer doesn't allow for. Razer Synapse is also more bloated and less easy to navigate, in my experience. The software also allows you to assign macros and commands to buttons. By default, you can use simple commands (cut, copy, paste, etc.), advanced commands (close tab, show desktop, etc.), media commands (play, pause, next track, etc.), DPI switch, profile switch, and custom macros. You will have to turn to another review to learn more about those features, as I have not tried them yet. Another thing worth mentioning is the cable. It is not a traditional cable. Rather, it is a 6 ft. braided cable which is very flexible. Traditional stiff cables (like in the Naga) may develop a bend over time which strains the cable and may expose wiring. Lastly, I feel I should mention the price and durability of each mouse. The Naga costs roughly $60 and, looking at its Amazon reviews, is as flimsy as all Razer products. Mine lasted 5 months before the cord simply stopped working. This mouse is roughly $30 and, again looking at reviews, seems to stand the test of time. It comes with a 2-year warranty, which is outstanding for a sub-$50 electronic. I will edit this review if ever this mouse stops working. In summary: this mouse is approximately on par with the Naga and is considerably better in terms of its software, its visual settings, and its durability. The Naga does have slightly more comfortable ergonomics and easier buttons, but trust me: the difference is not worth an additional $30, or even $10. There is no reason to buy the Naga over this mouse. One last thing for other previous Naga owners: you will have to uninstall Razer Synapse if you buy this product. Otherwise, your mouse will randomly change DPI settings. This seems to be a common problem with previous Razer users. 4 month edit: Mouse is still working just fine. Just wanted to edit to affirm that the product has held up well. Edit June 2018: Works great, although I have to note: please buy the black mouse, not the white one. The white one gets slippery over time.

I've had RedDragon brand mouse before so I knew what to expect. Working, but budget feeling. However, it's budget with software so it still offers a similar level of customization. RedDragons software is infamously bare. But that wouldn't be a problem if it didn't arbitrarily decide which key is worthy of a rebind and which are not. Mouse 1 and 2 can be changed to media keys but the DPI up, down, and RGB changer are hard coded to only ever work as those specific buttons. In what world will someone want to willingly rebind 'm1' but leave three buttons forever unused once the best long term settings are applied. Aside from that I find the the buttons on the side, although perfectly functional, are very mushy and unsatisfying if you're goal is to play a game where your spamming these keys in rapid succession. This was honestly expected on my part, so I don't even hold it that much against the brand. Cheaper you go, the more tactile keycaps tend to suffer. What's harder to dismiss is the constant rattling when I pick up the mouse off of the desk because at some point in the assembly process, some plastic tag. Albeit most likely just some important piece of excess molding. Broke off and rattles inside the thing. Truly a sign of good quality control. All while the right click has an extra pop where I assume the mold is slightly misaligned with the key cap underneath that functions as m2. This mouse is entirely functional, and I'll probably use it regardless of my issues because i'm broke and this is what I can afford and this is what was delivered to me. But this isn't something I can recommend past "Something that works, is cheap, and has a reprogrammable keypad on the side". If that's all you need, then this product is exactly that. If you want to do this with a bit of quality and comfort, then this product is likely not the one you want. Not bad. Not good. 5/10. Spend 10-30 extra bucks and you'll probably feel the difference.

I have given 5 stars for the value for money. You can tell it's not a Corsair etc. But it does do the job! If you want something that doesn't cost the earth I don't think you will go far wrong. The ONLY thing I would say is that it sits a little high. I use a small Logitech for gaming so my wrist doesn't end up at that odd angle. But if I had a desk and nice set-up I would use this with a wrist rest so it would be fine. Overall a good price that will get you into gaming nicely. I didn't use the software it worked fine for my MMO. But yes can't argue on the price!

This is probably the best mouse I have ever used. It is the only one that has adjustable weights that can be added/removed as per your preference. This allows a lot of inertial flexibility. However, you will have to spend some time and tweak the settings to get it to perform to your liking. The mouse is highly configurable with all it's sensitivity settings, and can take some getting used to. All of the keys (18 in total) are programmable. The firmware also allows 5 profiles, each of which can be programmed differently. This is probably the greatest asset of the mouse. I use one dedicated profile with high sensitivity for gaming, one for 3D graphics modeling and one for everyday work. Each of my profiles has a different key mappings for all of the 18 keys. My 3D modeling work flow has sped up considerably since I started using this mouse. I can just hit assigned shortcut keys off the mouse! Ergonomically the mouse feels pretty big, but fits into your hand pretty well. However, I have to say I don't have small hands so your mileage may vary. The mouse is also pretty lightweight. When it came in, I thought it would be heavy and initially it did feel heavy. Then I read about the weights in it's rear. After I removed the 8 weights (yeah 8) it became too light, so I had to add in 3 to get it to a comfortable weight. Now the mouse feels secure and firm, not too light and not too heavy. I get pretty tight control even when doing 3D modeling and gaming. If you are a gaming enthusiast or a 3d graphics modeler who requires a high precision mouse, I would definitely recommend this one. Take your time with the settings and read through the documentation. You won't be disappointed.

I usually get the Razer Naga but they have an issue with double clicking. This mouse was significantly less expensive and after a short period of adjustment to its shape and button placement I can't see a difference in performance. Also the box it came in was really cool. I upcycled it.

Ich habe mir die Redragon M901 Perdition aufgrund der guten Bewertungen hier gekauft. Sie sieht wunderbar aus und an der Verarbeitung kann man nicht meckern. Ich mag vor allen Dingen die raue Oberfläche. Was mir allerdings negativ aufgefallen ist, sind einfach nur 2 Punkte, die dazu führten das ich die Maus zurück geschickt habe. 1. Mausrad leuchten: die Farbe des leuchtens hängt von der eingestellten dpi Zahl ab. Es mag sein das man dies umstellen kann, allerdings habe ich die Option nicht gefunden. Lange suchen finde ich generell immer ziemlich doof und war dann schon entsprechend frustriert. Musste dann über die Systemsteuerung alles entsprechend einstellen.... 2. Belegung der Seitentasten: generell geht dies schnell und easy. Das hat allerdings im Praxistest nicht funktioniert. Ich spiele FFXIV und benutze in der Regel die Tasten 1 2 3 4 5 auf der Tastatur. Die Belegung der Tasten 6 bis 0 war auch gar kein Problem. Nun habe ich aber mehrere Hotbars wo ich meine Skills über die Kombi CTRL+1, CTRL+2 usw. erreiche. Die Programmierung hat easy geklappt, allerdings klappt die Umsetzung nicht. Wenn ich dann die Seitentaste 6 drücke und CTRL+1 ist hinterlegt, wird jedes zweite mal anstatt die Kombi CTRL+6 nur die 6 "geklickt". Ich habe es mehrfach probiert und neu programmiert und verschiedene Praxistests versucht.... Keine Chance. Oft wurden bei mir Skills "verschwendet" weil die Maus die Kombination nicht richtig geklickt hat. Das war sehr ärgerlich. Nach einer Weile habe ich es aufgegeben und das Ding wieder eingepackt und weg geschickt. Ich war sehr froh, dass ich mir hier als alternative noch die Titanwolf Gaming Mouse mitbestellt habe mit der ich total zufrieden bin.

O produto é excelente pra quem joga tíbia poketibia, PXG ou qualquer jogo de RPG com muitas skill, porém fiquei triste somente pelo fato de ser um mouse no anúncio e entregaram outro, noa tem ajuste de peso e etc....
