I'm really impressed with this lamp and, in my opinion, it's versatility and brightness means it would be great in a variety of environments. The lamp arrives with a plug and USB lead and is mains powered. A small instruction leaflet details the controls which are on the base of the lamp. All the controls work well and are easy to follow.I like the ease with which the LEDs are dimmable and also that the temperature of the light emitted can be varied to suit whatever is needed. I'm really impressed with the versatility of the lamp as the arm can be rotated and/or angled and the dual arms angled or spread to a variety of positions. Due to it's dimmability, and the adjustability of the light temperature, it will make a great bedside light and should help in not disturbing a partner who wishes to sleep when I want to read.However at it's brightest it is very bright and will make a great lamp for crafting, painting or any activity when I require a good degree of light and it's positional variability is a real bonus for this type of activity. To cap it all it also has a couple of USB output ports on the rear of the base so you can recharge devices whilst using the light. I'm really impressed with the design and also the finish and that it is well made and seems though it will be quite durable.Thoroughly recommended.

In the box you get the lamp, power brick, usb-c cable and instructions. You can power the unit with the 5V power brick or you can use a 5V portable power pack/charger. At the back of the lamp you have the on/off switch, there is a usb-c input port for power and usb-a output port for charging external equipment. On the right hand side of the base you have the night light, there are three light tones, white, warm and orange. On the base there are seven touch sensitive buttons, power on/off, plus and minus buttons for dimming the light, a mode button for the colour tones,you have five tones to choose from, white to yellow, a timer function button, this only has one setting 45 mins and the night light button. The light stem rotates left and right and forwards, the head at the top of the stem moves up and down and the light arms move in and out. A neat little desk lamp.

For someone who does miniature painting with their partner I found this to be an absolute super star when needing lighting, it's incredibly light weight, great lighting options and the USB-C option lets me use it practically anywhere.Fantastic price and versatile.

Good light coverage, switches work well. Does the job.This was the tallest one I could find of this type*Base needs to be heavy, I have a couple of chunk of steel on top to prevent falling over. Thus I'm not plugging/unplugging anything from it which is OK as I was looking for a light :)The *arm height is I think 39cm, so it not going to sit on a desk and be taller than most monitors (mine is on a shelf).Its powered by a small USB wall mounted power supply, this is not going to power its self and provide much if any fast charging via its 2 x USB A ports.
