They were a perfect fit. I wore them to an artist event and had several comments on how great they looked. A great conversation starter.

I saw the other reviews that described poor fit (heel slippage). Despite this, I could not resist ordering them. They are just so unique looking. I put them on, and yes the heel slipped. But you know what? I am okay with this. Why? Because I did not expect these shoes to be an "every day" shoe, or a shoe that would see a lot of action. These are a straight platform, so they do not bend at the ball of the foot when walking. So yes there is a bit of 'clodhopping' and getting used to it. These are not for standing on your feet all day, or going out dancing all night. These are shoes that you pull out when you are heading to a hip bar for the evening with some friends. On the way to the bar, the shoes are in their box in the passenger seat while I wear flip-flops to drive. These shoes are not designed to be highly functional; they are designed to get tons of looks and compliments because of how rad they are. So in that context, I am happy to coddle the shoes and deal with any fit issues for the few hours I wear them while out, and they are perfect in that role and that role alone. Will probably buy another design at some point in the future.

I really wanted to love these shoes because they look sooooo cool, but, sadly, they're not at all comfortable for me. I normally wear 8.5 so ordered 8, which fit fine in the toe area but was very loose in the heel. I tried insoles, heel grips and 2 different kinds of heel cushions to no avail; my foot would still slide up and down with every step. So then, just to be sure, I tried 7. Weirdly, my toes felt squished but the heel was still loose! =(

I loved the shoes until I tried to wear them and walk! Unreasonable price for ill fitted shoes!
