Great lighter!
This lighter is super light, and super convenient,It comes with a lanyard and a USB type C for recharging,It works super well, lights up immediately after pressing the button. It has some kind of latch to secure the cap of the lighter.I bought this because, I got a zippo lighter as I left my old one in my previous house after I moved out (over a year ago now) and when I got it and started using it, I recalled why I did not like it, too much hassle having to refill it with the little lighter fluid every time I want to use it as it dries up over time, super quickly too,Which this lighter I can say goodbye to that! and it was way cheaper than the zippo and don't have to spend more money after some time when I have to replace the wick, flint and of course lighter fluid.100% recommended!

So cool!
I ordered this because...why not? I saw it and thought it was kind of cool and was just interested in trying it out over the classic lighters I keep in my home for the candles. Obviously, that doesn't really test the 'waterproof and windproof' portion, but when I used it a few times to light our bonfire in less-than-ideal conditions, it did really well! This is a cool little lighter and if I were an intense hiker or camper spending days or weeks out in the middle of nowhere, this would be on the TOP of my list of must-haves for those just incase situations. If you're not one of those people and just think it might be cool (like I did) you're probably right and you're going to like having it just because it is kind of cool! :)

Rugged, works well
About the size of a Zippo, this lighter is pretty spiffy and definitely a conversation starter if nothing else. The dual plasma elements are a touch small for using as a cigar lighter, but works fairly well for cigarettes. It might be a little tricky to use in a campfire situation but being resistant to moisture and wind helps. It doesn’t weigh much more than a Zippo, and comes with a lanyard for securing to your backpack or similar. It has a rubberized encasing that adds a little bulk but probably helps with longevity. And as for battery life, I never did run the thing out, even after several days of use, so it seems to be quite efficient.

Well built lighter
A well built plasma light with convenient USB-C recharging. If your lighter needs require an open flame, the plasma lighters aren't for you, but for everyone else, this is a nice plasma lighter that will do the trick! With a rugged exterior and a locking lid, this lighter has some nice features. It will definitely fit the bill for those would need a simple, but effective, lighter!

limited in use
The lid on the lighter doesn't fold back flat against the body of the lighter, so you can't use it to light objects like candle wicks.

Perfect for camping.
This is the coolest little lighter. I would imaging the battery would last a long time due to the little amount of use it requires to start a fire. The arcs are a bit over 7MM diagonally and make about a 5mm x 5mm cross of plasma. Its prefect for lighting kindling for camp fires, lighting candles if the wick is accessible, and the paper of a cigarette in a pinch. May be a bit tough to light the devils lettuce because it would take a lot of time to get the surface area and penetration you'd get from a flame. You'd probably get more ozone than you would flower. Because it is hand held there may be a bit of danger when lighting gas fireplaces or other gas applications. Who needs hair on their hands anyway?I had a learning curve getting the lighter open because I'm not that smart. There is a metal clip holding the lid water tight. Simply pull it out and down over the large Red Push button. Once the clip is off you push the red button. The top is spring loaded and opens up the lighter. Inside the silver button activates the plasma arcs. You can smell the ozone it produces, but I wouldn't recommend you inhale it on purpose as it is bad for your health. It charges with via USBc found under the lid on the side under the plasma arcs on the right side of the lighter. It even has a loop on the waterproof casing to secure a lanyard.Overall I think this is a great camping tool. I'd recommend it to anyone.

Junk…
Initially this lighter is great! Worked for 2-3 days. Then I threw the box away and charged it, only for it to run out in less than a day. Now an entire 8 hour charge only gets 3 or 4 uses before completely dying. Can’t return it , so it’s basically $18 trash now. Bear Grylls would not take this with him to depend on for sure!
