How many times have you had to go look for a pen to write a check, because the one you used last time has fallen out of the checkbook? This metal clip helps solve that problem.The metal clips are super for attaching a pen to a checkbook. It holds a Bic crystal ballpoint pen perfectly. (Picture attached). If the pen diameter is larger than this, it wont fit, unless the pen itself has a clip, which can be attached to the metal pen loop.I have not yet tried the adhesive squares with elastic pen loop yet. I will update when I find the right notebook for that.As for value, you get 12 metal clips + 6 adhesive squares with elastic pen loop, for a little over 10.00. It is a decent price for the convenience of having a place to attach a pen to a checkbook or other notebook.Overall, I recommend this product for the metal clips, and will update this review once I actually use the adhesive pen loops.

When I use my pens, the pen clips don’t lie flat. I took a couple of pictures to show how the pen clips don't lie flat; they stick up a little bit. That's my reason for 4 stars.I like that the 12 pen clips come in 3 different colors; they can be color-coordinated with your notebooks. I like that there are a generous number of clips in the pack.I like that the 6 elastic clips come in different colors. I will use the elastic ones on clipboards since they will be taped on the surface on a permanent basis. Other than clipboards, I have nothing permanent that I write on. My notebooks, journals, pads, etc. are used up and discarded, so I don't want to waste an elastic clip on them. The adhesive sticks well to the surface, so I don't have to worry about them coming off.I like using these clips because I can always have a pen or pencil handy and ready to write.These clips are good quality with a good price.

I ordered this product specifically to keep the same pen on a journal. I wanted to always use the same one. This is perfect for anyone with such OCD tendencies. It’s also perfect for those that always lose their pens. So basically this is a great item for anyone that uses writing instruments. The set came with 5 of the sticky tab holders and 12 paper clip style holders. I used the first sticky tab holder on a hardback journal with a thicker pen. The elastic on this gives more versatility in the size of pen it will hold. Stickiness of the tab seems strong. Easy application. The paper clip style did not lay flat on the hard cover so did not look as nice for this purpose. The paper clip style works great on spiral notebooks and such. It holds most regular pens and pencils under the u shape portion without any problems. Placing larger pens in the top center of the paper clip holder (as shown on seller’s page) did not feel as secure as I would have liked. I’ll stick with pens and pencils that fit under the holder.

these clips are good for ballpoints and wooden pencils only, which would be fine is thats all i used.surprisingly it can hold my apple pencil (1st generation) which is nice; i attached it to one of my spare cases and can bring the sylus with me.usng the clip or stap with my usual pens is bad, it either doesnt fit or it deforms and messes up the point of having the slim clip.for the clips some pens will actually fit on the outsidef thick enough ( pressed into the space) but it doesnt feel as secure as underneath.

I got these for the little tabs that hold a pen in a loop of elastic. I've used those before and like them, and having a few on hand seemed a great idea. But then I got the package and fell in love with the paperclips--paperclips that HOLD A PEN!! What? I didn't even know this was a thing I could own. And there's a lot of them (a DOZEN) in three different metallic hues. They are pretty sturdy too. I clipped one to a notebook, slipped a pen in--it held securely, thank you--and when I slipped the pen off and unclipped the paperclip, it was back in its original position--not bent out of shape as most paperclips get when expanded a bit. These are a stronger wire grade than most, obviously, and also very shiny and pretty. I love them. I want more.
