Joy Pepple Air Conditioners Deliver!
I had a problem with heat in my second floor office. This Joy Pebble was fairly easy to set up and install, including the window exhaust parts. Works very well, sometimes gets a little too cool, but that is not a problem. It's working now as I type. If you purchase, remember to follow the instructions to let the unit stand upright for 4 hours. This stabilizes the coolant, a must. Love the remote control. A great purchase.

Air conditioning
It was easy to setup. I did have to cut the slide bar to fit my window. Which was easy to do with a hand saw. Just made a simple cut across the bar and was able to snap the piece off. Does work well.

Very efficient and cooling the air in a small bedroom
I got this for my son‘s bedroom because it gets so hot during summer. This has any media cooling effect. Highly recommended if you have a similar issue.

Use a paper fan. Cheaper and more effective than this heavy door stop
Don't let the "low price" get you. I rarely buy into the "You get what you pay for" line; mostly because I know how to shop, saving 75-90% lower than most retail prices. This junk, however, couldnt cool off an igloo on the coldest day of the year!I set this up, replacing my old portable a/c, but, the room was still hot!I wouldn't buy this again if they gave me one for free. MAYBE if they paid me to take it, but, I probably wouldnt use it or even donate except to the local dump. Any money I'd have earned would be lost on the electric bill, so I wouldnt even plug it in.For some strange reason, when I attempted a refund, I was told this was ineligible. I called Amazon, and planned for an argument; but, they saw right away this was still 14 days within the return window. So, I'm not sure if that was a glitch with Amazon, or, how the seller set this up. Either way, I'm glad to get the refund, and not so glad to have made this purchase. Thanks a lot, Pebblejoy, and Rowena Electronic Co. I'll be sure to avoid your products in the future.

It works
I got this for my 40 ft Country Coach motorhome rather than running my rooftop AC and it works very will. Just had to make an insert to go into the window first because the corners of the window are covered. On a 90deg day it keeps it at 72, I have to keep the temperature cooler because of the residential refrigerator that has never been turned off in 8 years plus it is quiet even on high. It came well packaged and came before the date listed. So far so good.

Leaking and only 6000 BTUs
UPDATE: I really appreciate the seller's customer service. I think we got a defective unit. Customer service tried to help us resolve our issue and then allowed us to return the item.I absolutely regret buying this unit. It's advertised as being 10,000 BTUs, but in reality is only 6,000. Doesn't cool as well as our old 8,000 BTU unit. And this one leaks everywhere. We've woken up twice to our living room floor covered in water with the machine still running. The "water tank full" light never activated. Water leaks freely out of the bottom corner of the machine to the point that we've put a pan under it to catch the water. It's truly upsetting. Installation was easy and the noise level is decent, but I would steer clear of this unit.

Convenient but not as powerful as hoped for.
A relatively fair experiment to supplement my broken central air when my actual window unit died. Nice to not have to lift a window ac in and out, but not as efficient for cooling in hot weather. Supposed to cool between 500 - 600 sf, but it doesn't once outside temps reach over 100°. I am only trying to cool 420 sf. The area is still over 80° every day in 100 plus temps. So, when my central air gets fixed or replaced, I will move this to my bedroom so I can save a little money at night.
