Light but sturdy. Well engineered.
It's a touch narrow but otherwise sturdy and an excellent value for the price. My permanent dock is fairly high above Lake Michigan but the length worked out where the first two steps are under water. Assembly involves about 20 3/8" screws and nuts. A power driver and box wrench recommended.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: This ladder was longer than most, meeting my need. There were no instructions included

Not too bad
Not exactly sturdy. Also a bit too narrow. Hard to climb up on for me and hubby. The first ladder we bought broke up easily when we forgot to pull it before we moved the boat. Our mistake. We bought a second and using it just a handful of times the weld broke while I was climbing out of the water onto the pontoon. Causing me to be hurt. Would not recommend this cheaply made ladder. Pay the extra money for a good sturdy ladder

Sturdy
Good and sturdy. We have a 15x30 oval pool it doesn't touch the bottom but we got the 4 foot so its large we hung it off our deck but dint wanna risk it tearing the liner. Its perfect. Screws down so no wobble.

Great ladder for pool deck
Got this for our above ground pool that has a wooden deck built around it.

Dock Ladder not strong enough
After the ladder was assembled and tightened, we attached it to the dock. When going up or down the ladder has a sway back and forth. It just doesn't feel stable.
