Tuve que regresarlo porque fue mi plan B para solucionar un problema de conexión temporal y el precio había sido demasiado para permitirme otro cable de emergencia, pero fue decisión difícil porque la calidad de construcción de las terminales era por mucho superior a la de la solución que encontré en tiendas de electrónica locales.

Didn’t work for me!
Ordered this to connect a digital audio mixer via FireWire to my laptop recording software and it did not work. My mixer did not appear on my computer. To make sure, When I used my older cable (FireWire to FireWire with an adapter on one end to connect to thunderbolt port on laptop) it worked fine. Was hopeful that a FireWire to USB cable would help in my case but unfortunately not.

Connected old external drive to modern computer
This cable successfully connected an old external hard drive with FireWire port to a more modern computer. The computer could determine that the external drive was connected. Because the drive itself had failed, data could not be transferred or read, but that was not the fault of the cable. So, I was unable to test the data transfer but have no reason to believe that there would be an issue.

Sospechaba que no iba a funcionar. Aun así compre el cable.
Llego en tiempo y forma pero... No funciono. No estoy seguro si fue el cable o el tipo de conexión por cable. Definitivamente se necesita algo mas que un simple cable. Corrección: Ya había buscado alternativas, solo encontré el convertidor de Thunderbolt 3 a USB-C; me falta el convertidor de Thunderbolt 3 a FireWire, este ultimo no lo encuentro en venta. Es para rescatar una mezcladora Mackie Onix 1620i que conectaba a mi computadora antigua, que ya paso a mejor vida. Lastima. RIP.
