This tool works great! It holds the connector in proper place/orientation to ensure a good crimp. As with all other crimpers, I still had to pre-bend the seal tabs just a bit to fit the crimper. Otherwise the ends will catch and not roll over correctly at the very beginning of the crimp. Tool required minimal assembly, but was very easy. The plastic alignment die will still be able to move a bit after tightening screw. But it’s no big deal.

i use these connectors at work and cant seem to get my self too spend 300 on a pair just to do little projects for home use! i took a chance on these because my co workers have bought the cheaper pairs on here and they worked alright but these guys right here are really sturdy and pretty adjustable compared to the other cheap ones my coworkers have bought! just make sure you buy the right ones for the size of wire your gonna be using and i promise you wont be disappointed!

The crimp on this is excellent at the bare wire part of the terminal, but the part of the terminal that acts as an attachment to the insulation of the wire does not complete. Instead it makes a full perfect circle around the wire that does not touch it, so you have to use pliers to complete this part which is annoying. Also, the guide part works very well but does not attach with the Allen screw - there are no threads in the hole for the screw. The guild stays in place pretty well with the plastic piece alone, but I can't see that it will for very long with repeated removals.

Crimper is well made and functions well. It is a good idea to watch videos of how to crimp terminals before attempting for the first time. You should spend some time practicing on terminals and wires that you can discard because there is a technique you must develop and it will take a few tries to get it right. You may also want to use needle nose pliers to squeeze the terminal after crimping to make sure it will fit correctly in the terminal connector clock.

I had to thread the hole to attach the piece that goes on the back of the crimper. Lucky that I have the tools to fix it.

This is a sturdy tool, almost too sturdy as I had a problem figuring out how to unlock it. The round knob is to be turned, not pulled out, to release the handles. Check the video out on the Amazon site for attachment of the connector block.I found it best to place the connector into the block and then insert the wire. The jaws do a good job of crimping the connector. The jaws don't always release so you may have to turn that knob to get the connector and wire out.

Good tool for the amount of use I will give it.

The product is as advertised, so we are pleased about that.

I like that the tool has short handles, compaired to the other professional option on the market. Perfect crimps everytime.

Just as good as the more expensive ones.

Holes for male pins not large enough to allow the pin to seat correctly, a few minutes to drill out were required. After that zero failures. Tool could be improved with a shutter that keeps the stripped end from going past the crimp position.
