Good quality.
Great item. Seem well built and strong. Fits perfectly in both my lee universal decapping die and my franford arsenal hand depriming tool.

Terrible Quality
TERRIBLE quality. 1 of the pens came bent. I was decapping crimped NATO Lake City .308 and all 4 broke on me. I would not buy these. Next time I’ll just go to Lee Precision site and buy an original pin.

Quality seems good, but modifications needed
The hardness of the material seems comparable to factory decapping pins. I tested this on my lathe by cutting a failed factory pin and the unused end of a new one. Both cut nearly identical. The diameter is a little small but only by a few thousands so it was no problem getting the compression nut to secure the pin. I did find other reviews to be accurate when they spoke of the tapered end being too large and rendering the pins useless on small primer cases. This was not a problem for me since all I had to do was shave the taper off with my lathe. I suppose this could be done by using a drill press and a file but it would certainly take longer. I’m looking forward to processing more brass in the future but as of now I see no reason why these pins wouldn’t do just as well as factory pins. Just make sure you are aware of the fact that you will have to modify them if you’re buying them to use on small primer cases.

Worth having
Can't hurt to have a few of these around. Tips break, and getting another die set, on a Sunday evening may not be an option.
