Perfect gift for Brother
I haven't played it yet, but it was a hit for my brother. It seems he wanted the game for years but never told anyone. He was very pleased when he opened it, immediately pulled out the rules to learn how to play.

Great show, Awful game!
You may have wondered how TOMY would take the global phenomenon that was "Iron Chef" and port it to a popular board game. The answer? Not well. The bulk of the game is spent moving around the board in a seemingly endless effort to collect cards, only to have other players inevitably steal them from you (legally). The goal is to "make" a meal consisting of three courses in one of four different cuisines. The only redeeming element of this game is the variety of food (as shown on the cards). The problem is you don't really *do* anything with it. The Iron Chefs themselves barely put in an appearance; the game pieces are almost generic. What's very much needed is some battery-powered sound bites from the show, like from Chairman Kaga. Or if you really want to be creative: think about using real food props from the kitchen to enhance playability!Recommended age: 8+.Verdict: Too frustrating for children and simply a waste of time for adults.
