I got this for my husband for Christmas this year he had no idea that I was getting him something like this he loves DeWalt tools and I thought of course this is the perfect thing for him a mini Bluetooth wearable speaker. He shows this off to all of his friends he thinks it's the coolest thing. For the size of it it is super loud. The quality of the speakers really good like when it's put up to Max you can't even hear any distortion or like crackling of it. The color is perfect it goes with a DeWalt color scheme of the yellowish orange and black. I like the fact that it can be a charged with a c charger which is very convenient for everybody. It's super small and the functionality of it is very good it's easy to connect to your phone and then the ability to answer and talk on your phone through the speaker is really convenient too. Mind control and it's very very easy it's easy to use my husband really likes it a lot it's simpler is better for him always. And the price of it wasn't too bad a little bit more than I would normally spend on a speaker but because it's DeWalt I felt like the price of it was really good.

For what this is and for the price this is a really good product. Of course people want to know about the sound quality, for what it is the sound quality is very good. Podcasts and anything that involves strictly talking sounds very very good. Music sounds passable, this isn't the greatest and latest high fidelity sound in a speaker but you shouldn't think it was supposed to be. This is a rugged and clip-on speaker with long battery life that is going to get you through the workday or get you through your exercise or just be a small speaker to clip on to your shirt while you're doing work around the house and be super portable. It is a treble heavy speaker and it has probably the least amount of bass possible without being declared "utterly without base in any form." I used it for the better part of a seven or eight hour shift on and off listening to podcasts and YouTube videos and music and battery was still good. My device seems to charge particularly fast. I like that it's black and yellow in my version because I can spot it easily rather than get another black item or black device and lose it amongst the other black items and devices in my room or my home. I'm really happy with it. Excellent portability, excellent ruggedness, very good battery life, very quick charging as far as I can tell, good enough sound for what it is and for the price it's a great deal. When I want my small portable clip-on speaker I'm not necessarily going for maximum listening pleasure I'm going for portability I'm going for ease of use and I'm going for this device as a companion to keep me occupied with music and podcasts as I go about my day.

Great little speaker for the job site and workshop. It’s loud, sounds good, and clips on easily. Feels tough, battery life is solid, and the flashlight is a nice extra feature that comes in handy when working in darker spots. Definitely a 5-star buy.

This is a really good rugged personal speaker that you can wear around the jobsite. It's small, light, and provides clear music free of distortion. Sounds better than my new iphone. It was easy to connect and showed up right away for bluetooth pairing. Love that I can connect to my other Dewalt bluetooth speaker to expand the sound.

Who is this for? (1) Folks that like gadgets (2) Those that want an alternative to wearing earbuds with hear-through on (3) Those that are on the move a lot, not near a stationary speaker, and can't or don't want to wear earbuds (3) All of the above + those that listen to audiobooks, podcasts, news, etc. more than music. PROS: (1) It's small and does in fact weigh 2oz (1.8 oz). (2) The body is a mix of plastic and rubber so, at 2oz, it won't disintegrate when dropped. (3) Battery life is great so far - 8 hours straight without charging. (4) The three buttons are easy to find and use, even wearing gloves, and offer good tactile feedback. (5) It auto-connects to the last connected device which is handy. (6) Spoken audio is louder, sharper, and with a broader frequency range relative to the internal speakers on my iPhone 16 Pro. (7) the clip as so far proved to securely hold the devise to clothing. (8) The voice prompts are much more useful than audio beeps and so forth. CONS: (1) This device is advertised as "Pro Audio Sound for Music and Calls", which you should largely dismiss. Someone in marketing at DEWALT doesn't understand what Pro Audio Sound really is. Audiobooks, podcasts, news...in other words, spoken audio, sounds much better on this speaker than my iPhone 16 Pro. I consider this device great for that. "Music", on the other hand, leaves just as much to be desired as the sound capability of my iPhone 16 Pro. The lower frequency range just isn't there. Perhaps with jazz, classical, old country, or a-capella, it sounds good enough. With rock, rap, r&b, modern country, the absence of the lower frequency range makes the music unenjoyable. I suspect if you're buying a speaker this small, you understand you're not going to get high-end audio from it and are ok with that. (2) Based on all factors and the current market, and considering the lifespan of portable battery devices, this wearable speaker is objectively overpriced. Other wearable bluetooth speakers on the market with very similar design and functionality are priced in the $20 to $40 range. At $69.99 for this DEWALT version, you're buying the name and maybe the warranty. Functionally, it offers nothing more or better than a majority of the competition. (3) The LED light on the bottom of the device that constantly flashes while the device is in use can be very annoying when using this device in the dark. It's practically useless since, if the speaker is producing sound, a secondary indicator that the device is working is unnecessary. Take some black paint and cover it up. Note: I have not used this device for taking phone calls so I have no feedback to offer regarding the built in microphone. Should you buy it? If you mostly listen to spoken audio, need/want a wearable alternative to earbuds that's easy to use and has good battery life, are loyal to the DEWALT brand and their pricing, sure buy it. It's a handy gadget. If you want a wearable speaker but aren't loyal to DEWALT, consider the other similar but less expensive wearable bluetooth speakers on the market.

This thing is awesome. Charges fast, great sound quality, easily paired. The clip on the back is a bit stiff, but that's good since it is secure. Hint for all my construction brothers that can't use earbuds: it clips to the cross straps inside hardhats for great surround sound at low volume that nearby foreman can't hear.

Talks to you and let’s you know “device conntected” and “high, medium, or low battery.” The battery does last a long time and the speaker output is loud and clear. Makes taking a call hands free very easy. Comes with charging cable and storage/carry bag. So far I love it because often times I cannot answer or have to stop what I’m doing to take a call. This solves that issue. When I ordered, it arrived same day. Great little gadget. I wish I had one for years now.

Great little speaker; keep volume low and it’ll limit the “tinny-ness” but the battery life is fantastic and you can hear it clearly pinned to your shirt collar. It’s better than you might expect and has great functionality; on iOS it shows up for battery percentage remaining as well as with LEDs. 8/10

Been meaning to try and sort music / podcast listening whilst working outside in all conditions for ages. Had a trusty site radio for years, but always conscious rain and also volume when others around. Headphones not an option with safety helmet. Saw this by chance. Delivered next day. Standard Bluetooth set up. Clear instructions. Sounds absolutely fine. Rear clip seems nice and strong. Pleased with purchase
