Ergoplay Guitar Support Professional - Height and angle adjustable - Black metal construction - Padded leg rest

I tried this guitar rest as an alternative the Dynarette guitar cushion. The cushion is simple to use but easily slides around on the leg and after a while of playing I started to get frustrated with it, and needed to find an alternative. I had tried footstools in the past but I found tension quickly built up in my lower back and in the hip of my raised leg. The most ergonomic position for me is to have both legs parallel to floor when sitting with the guitar resting on either leg to suit my style of playing. The Ergoplay is easy to set up with three suction cups that fix onto the side of the guitar. This allows for the rest to be moved up and down the side of the guitar as required. So far the suction cups have worked well. They have been secure and not caused any marks or damage to any of my classical and Flamenco guitars. This particular model of the Ergoplay also allows for some lateral adjustment so that the body of the guitar can be slightly tilted towards or away from your body. The angle of the head of guitar is also easily adjusted on the slide which will accommodate the traditional classical position with neck up, or a more contemporary lower angle. I have used it successfully on either leg to suit and at various angles. So far so good. I've found it simple to set up and comfortable enough to sustain longer sessions of playing and practicing. Adaptable to different styles of playing and robust this is very good guitar rest in my opinion.

Very pleased, fits the guitar well with sufficient adjustments

Used for my classical guitar. Advantage: Comfortable Disadvantage: The hinge may move while you are playing. Not very compact / portable.

This makes posture so much easier and allows good technique for longer. I should have bought one years ago

Rises to about 50 degrees, so just a treat.

Great quality and really helps play guitar with bad back. (Posture)

Bought this for my Martin D JR which has a minimal finish. This type of finish requires you to use the supplied plastic stick on film to enable the sucker pads to stick. It works for a while, but one pad lets go after a while. This needs re-designing possibly with adjustable clamps.Certainly makes holding a dreadnought guitar on the lap a lot more easy.

Very good, great support

Very easy to assemble. You have to experiment to find the correct position and height (adjustable) that works for you. But it sure beats using a footstool. I am more comfortable playing. easier on the back, knees and the seat. You can concentrate more on the piece your playing. Comes off easy by lifting suction cups and goes back on easy again. Suction cups do not slip. Still have issues with it slipping on my leg, but I had that before playing without the Ergoplay. Recommend this to anyone who plays or just putts around playing classical guitar.

Muy buen apoyo.
