Great Halloween movie

I got shi used just because of the steelbook case which is beautiful. I loooove how it looks, and it looks great in my collection.I replaced the BR discs with my 4K and now that's what I got.I mean, you can't go wrong with a steelbook.Get it used when is still affordable.

Good movie but nit as great as the original

Meh, I was hoping for more. This series is played out.

Not too many horror cliches here - this is defintely one of my favourite horror films. Excellent sound effects and acting of Michael Myers. Not at all disappointed in this one - would never sell it.

La edición en Bluray merece la pena en cuanto a la calidad de imagen, que no defrauda. Si puedes cogerla en alguna rebaja de precio, aún mejor. En relación a la película, entretenida continuación de la primera de Carpenter.

Thankyou to Amazon (Au) and Australia Post for a speedy despatch and a fast delivery."Halloween" follows a familiar slasher storyline: escaped deranged psycho wreak havoc. At the start, the movie shows some promise: hyped up escaped psycho creating mayhem (carnage), a couple of passable kills and the inclusion of a modicum of the supernatural. However, the movie soon changes. With some "kills", we are privy to what occurs before and/or after the "kill", without actually seeing the kill (the main reason that I watch "slasher" movies). Such a pity. Such a lost opportunity.I prefer "slasher" movies whereby the victim (prey) is stalked before the kill. I like to see the fear and terror in their eyes as they are toyed with. Also, l like to see that fear turn to resignation as the victim "accepts" their impending demise. Furthermore, l like to see the resultant arterial blood spurt(s), blood spray patterns, blood pooling and any eviscerated innards, from the piercing attack, as their life ebbs. I found "Halloween" to be deficient in all these respects. The "kills" were over much too soon: a matter of moments. The build-up of anticipation, suspense and interest didn't eventuate, for me.The acting in the movie was acceptable. Although, in a couple of scenes, it was a little unconvincing. Jamie Lee Curtis gave a solid performance, perhaps a little overkill in this roll (viewed as a standalone film). Production (as undertaken) was competently executed: scenes were well framed with good camera angles. This revealed more action (detail) in scenes which increased my overall enjoyment (stopping my itchy finger from hitting the eject button).Both discs offer a satisfactory viewing experience. Although, the 4K UHD disc (preferred option) affords a significantly superior picture (detail and colour), particularly in dark scenes.I wasn't frightened once by "Halloween". It uses similar scenarios encountered in some other "slasher" movies. More of a watchable time "killer" than an engrossing movie. Overall, a disappointment.

He comprado esta peli un año después de su salida ya que en su fecha de salida me dio problemas. Ahora al fin todo va como tiene que ir con un audio y una calidad excepcional. Sin duda una de mis franquicias favoritas
