I love this stuff so much, I have a unicorn art gold mica powder that I've been using but the issue I've found with that is that it has a slightly green cool undertone to it. The gold I was looking for is more of a rich warm gold which the Meyspring one DEFINITELY IS! I also noticed that it has more shimmer to it which maybe gives it more vibrancy than the unicorn art one I'm not sure but I definitely do prefer this Meyspring one the shade is beautifulThe first picture I provided shows how the powders look mixed with a little bit of the resin. If you can't tell by the picture, the top one (Meyspring) is a little brighter and more warmer than the bottom one (Unicorn Art).The second picture shows how shimmery the Meyspring one is compared to the Unicorn art, its definitely way more pigmented and warmer which in my opinion resembles gold more. Meyspring will now be my go-to gold pigment I love it!

Smaller container than I was thinking, hopefully it last seems how you need to use so little!

I love this pigment powder! I haven't experimented too much so far, I got it to use in my resin projects, but it worked great for my fingerprint project The powder is fine enough to achieve the minute details in the print I was aiming for and I think it turned out cool. The powder shimmers but isn't glittery, if that makes any sense, which I consider a positive because chunky glitter can often make things seem more 3rd grade art project than stunning pieces.You also get a lot of the powder, and trust me, a little goes a long way so I bet this jar will last me a long time. I am sure there are plenty of things to do with it in addition to using it with resin, so if you are looking for a beautiful gold pigment powder, I would suggest giving this one a try!

This metallic pigment powder is lovely. A small amount gives a wonderful metallic molten gold color to resin or paint. I have used it in a few different ways. I stirred it into resin, and it worked great. I also rubbed it onto the edges of some of my resin molds to have a gold metallic edge for some coasters. It works better on tinted colors versus clear, as I noticed a tendency of a small amount of the powder to drift into the resin. That may be true with all pigment powders, I’m not sure, as this is the first time I have tried it. I also took some alcohol and dissolved some of the pigment It, then used a pipette to drop it into some very detailed flower and butterfly molds. They turned out extremely well, picking up the detail. I think it might work even better if I let the alcohol evaporate before pouring the resin. It doesn’t take much to get that metallic gold, so this will last me a good long time. I am quite pleased with this product.
